Long Moving & Storage LLC

Honestly, one of the most disrespectful companies we've ever worked with. My family and I booked this company last year for a move from Boston to Pawtucket and they were fine. We decided to come back since we knew they could hold overnight due to a move to New York in the upcoming weeks. The owner told us he would wave the overnight fee as we were returning costumers. They proceeded to send us the quote and all was well. We then asked them if they could facilitate an additional move from our current apartment in Pawtucket to a different address in Pawtucket down the street. They agreed and sent over a new quote charging $2,000 for the move down the street with 3 men estimating the move to take 5 hours (the move from Boston was done with two men and they were finished packing the truck within an hour and a half). Within the new quote they also charged the overnight fee. When my father called to correct this mistake -- and double check that they didn't overcharge for the items (5) we would be moving to the new Pawtucket location -- they called him a liar. This is all despite having a record of their quote in our inbox. Disappointed, my father informed them of future moves that were inevitable between my sisters and I within the next years. He mentioned that we were hoping to continue working with them but this circumstance has altered our opinion of their integrity. They proceeded to insult him. Normally this could be chalked up to miscommunication, however, the denial of the previous invoice, overcharging, and the disrespectful comments are outlandish and unprofessional.

Very poor communication. Left multiple messages but never called me back as promised. Would never recommend this mover to anyone.

Long movers did an excellent on 5/30/24 for our move from Providence to Riverside. I can't say enough about Ryan and Yaya, they went above and beyond with a difficult move. This is the 2nd time using Long Movers and I highly recommend them

Took forever, went over estimate by 500 dollars, broke multiple items I specifically set aside, hid the broken items, and refused to pay for them. On top of this their operations manager Brandon, was rude and condescending on the phone, flat out refused to reimburse for items discovered after the fact, and hung up on me twice when I called them about it. It's one thing to get screwed over by movers, it's quite another to have them rub it in your face and be condescending about it. I went with Long because they were recommended by my realtor, but I will be actively discouraging people from using them in the future and will ask my realtor to do so as well. Moving is stressful enough, don't use movers that leave you feeling bad about the experience afterwards.

They were on time and were very friendly and had a very super knowledge of what to do and were very efficient in every step of the way. The 2 gentlemen that arrived made themselves 'like family' and I can't say enough on how they represented themselves and the company they work for. If you get any other movers other than Long Moving & Storage...well you have missed a blessing!
