I did not hire them, a neighbor did. They blocked my driveway,. I was home and they could have checked.. They did not apologize when I came out. They did move the truck a few minutes after I asked, but moved it up the street in front of other neighbors’ driveways, despite there being two spots that would have fit the truck. When the driver was walking away, I said he was in front of other driveways and he said “There’s nothing you can do about it in this neighborhood” and kept walking. It’s often a tricky street to park on, but there were open spots today and there are permits to make the space. Assuming you can block anyone’s driveway is not a way to treat neighbors.

Dennis and his team are absolutely solid. It was my first time having movers so I wasn’t sure what to expect. The packed my house quickly and professionally, taking extra care with fragile items and furniture, especially stuff from my grandparents.

Had LuLu's scheduled for today. Aside from reserving a move for a 3-bedroom house, the only other communication from LuLu's was my trying to call and email to find out if they were still coming after not hearing from them. Got a simple, 'Absolutely. 9am'. I should have been concerned that more questions or communication about the specific items to be moved were not asked. I will take responsibility for that....BUT how LuLu's handled the move day is really wrong (or failed move day). Dennis arrives with 2 other workers and begins with assessing 'this is too much', and that the treadmill and exercise bike might not fit, the outdoor furniture might not fit, etc....All things that should have been the company's job to inquire about before move day!
Long story short, I got upset and had him talk on the phone to my friend because he didn't like that I had the mistaken belief that the company should plan and communicate better. He left by literally throwing the phone on my furniture, leaving without a word to me, and driving off. I guess lesson learned, insist on clear communication and specifications of what is to be moved. Dennis said he had to travel here from Portland to do this job and that my attitude makes him not to even want to move me. Wow, LuLu's, you can't do better than that??

I highly recommend Lulu's Hauling to anyone who need to make a move. Dennis and his team did a great job communicating in the days leading up to the move. On the day of the move they were professional, efficient, and did an awesome job taking care of our furniture and belongings. The move went according to plan and stayed within the estimated costs. I highly recommend Lulu's Hauling, they are one of the best in the bay area.

They were responsive, professional, easy to work with, and overall I felt they did a great job. Oh, and they also were quite reasonably priced.
