Luttrell's did a fabulous job with our move! We had Joe, Leonard and Lawrence and they worked so well together. They were gracious and courteous and hard-working. They were careful with all of our stuff and willing to help in any way we needed. I would highly recommend this team to anyone!
Phil (manager) is either corrupt or he honestly doesn’t understand three people move much quicker than two. I obtained estimates from several moving companies and chose this one based on price…$95/hr for two men and 110/hr for three men. I had a lengthy discussion with Patti (receptionist) as to why I needed three men and she agreed, informing me it was a lot cheaper and faster because two could move while one packed the truck. Phil called me on Thursday and Friday to confirm my Saturday morning appointment, but no one called me on Saturday before arrival to tell me there were only two men available. I told the movers when they arrived I needed three men, yet they assured me they could do the job the same. My entire home was packed up and they were there with the truck; I didn’t see I had a choice. After five hours of them loading up a two bedroom townhouse, I started helping. I’m disabled and am not supposed to be lifting, but I had to speed it up or I couldn’t afford it and I can not be upright all day without serious health consequences. 12 plus hours later, they had me moved in. They accidentally broke a mirror, yet my broken back and bank is more of my concern. One of the movers offered to call Phil for me that night because he knew they did me dirty, but it was almost 11pm; my back was screaming and I knew I wouldn’t be nice. He said Phil would call me Monday; he didn’t. I called him and during our conversation he literally took a call on another phone and stated, “it’s someone else trying to get money back; I’m so sick of it.” Phil said he would talk to Patti and the movers and call me back the next day; he didn’t. I called him several times on Wednesday and Thursday. I was rude to Phil after the above statement and then him questioning me over and over, “if you didn’t get good service why did you tip them so well?” Because I felt bad for them and the two men did their best doing a three man job; it wasn’t their fault they were a man short. Phil stated, “that’s their job, they do it everyday, you shouldn’t feel sorry for them.” I don’t know why anyone works for this man. Phil said he would think about returning some money to me and get back with me; I’m still waiting. Movers R Us charges by the items, not time, AND your belongings are insured.
