On January 15, 2025, my daughter moved from Florida to New Jersey using this company. We paid the cost of the move and this is why I am writing this review. They gave my daughter an estimate over the phone, and the day of the move the price far exceeded the estimate. I understand my daughter may have not judged correctly and I figured the cost would be more, but the price rose from 1,600 to a final cost of well over 5,000. This was a move from a one bedroom apartment.

Besides this, they could not get my daughters brand new couch out of the apartment. 10 months earlier, this couch was delivered into the apartment with no problem. I was told by M&D that they tried everything and could not get the couch out of the apartment. We had to leave a brand new couch in the apartment. Prior to my daughters furniture arriving in NJ we received a phone call from mover that the truck could not deliver to her street due to trees and they had to move her furniture to a smaller truck. The cost would be 800. I pitched a fit and they lowered it to 400. Our hands were tied if we wanted our furniture.

Upon furnitures arrival there was significant damage to furniture as well as glassware. Kitchen chair broken, back of dresser cracked, mattress and boxspring dirty and damaged, mirror broken, glassware broken, etc.. This list goes on. I have photos showing same,.

I tried calling to speak to someone to no avail. The one conversation I had went nowhere. In the future I will know what moving company NOT to use.
