Made EZ Moving

The communication from Made EZ was always fast and helpful. The movers were absolutely wonderful. They were super friendly, accommodating and efficient. I would highly recommend this company.

I am conflicted on leaving this review. In many ways Made Ez Moving was great to deal with and I think in most cases they would be a great option for moving. In my case I needed specialized movers and I thought after being turned down by multiple movers and also a couple businesses that specialize in what I need moved that when Made Ez accepted my move they were equipped to handle it. The item i needed moved was large and weighed 2500 lbs. I sent all the specs to them and was assured they could handle it. They picked up my item at the frieght terminal and they were to deliver i to my home. The day of the move we had snow, I contacted them to see if they needed to cancel and was told they could still do the delivery. The first giant red flag was they showed up in a uhaul with no liftgate and no equipment to safely lower a 2500 lbs item to the ground. To make a long story short they dropped my brand new 10,000 dollar item on it's back very hard and slide it of the truck. They thought they could tilt 2500 lbs back and lower it to the onto its back safely and control it. That resulted in it falling, luckily for the movers they were not hurt. Dealing with that weight in an unsafe manner could result in death. The head mover kept saying they could handle it, but watching them fumble for hours it was apparent they could not and even in perfect conditions they could not. The item was left in my driveway overnight. They were supposed to return the next day but I was pretty sure if they did my situation would go from bad to worse. Luckily I got a referral to another company that was able to move my item on short notice. Two men with the knowledge and right equipment were able to move what 4 people were not able to. This was a job that required know how and finesse. 4 people cannot muscle 2500 lbs.

Made ez was great to deal with but lacked the ability to move what I needed. Sometimes you have to know what you don't know and turn something down if you can't handle it. The head mover said they move these items all the time. He might be technically right, but my suspicious is they move stuff from the big box stores that may look the same, but are not built the same and weigh a 1/3 the weight that mine does.

If you have an extremely heavy item that cannot be disassembled i would go elsewhere, for normal moving it think they would be great.
I only left this review to help someone not have to go through what I did.

Guys moved my baby grand piano across town in Pittsburgh. Professional, kind, and did not waste time.
