Review:

I recently had a very frustrating experience with Marie's Movers that I feel compelled to share. I contacted them to schedule a move-out date for November 11th and verbally confirmed this date over the phone when arranging for an estimate. There was clear communication that November 11th was the planned date, and it was understood that an estimate would be conducted prior to the move.

However, I was later informed by Suzanne from Marie's Movers that they had no record of my confirmation and that the date had been given to another client. She stated that I had not accepted the estimate they sent, implying that I needed to sign the estimate to secure the move-out date. This requirement was never communicated to me at any point during our conversations.

The lack of transparency and poor communication were extremely disappointing. Not only did they fail to inform me of the need to sign the estimate to confirm the date, but their tone suggested that the oversight was mine, not theirs. This mirrors other customers' experiences I've since discovered, where the quoting and estimating system caused confusion and unexpected charges - e.g., a former review event took issue with the quality of the quoting/estimate system: '...we were hit with a bill that was almost double the original estimate. In speaking to the owner, Jim, he explained the first estimate was only for the move out plus the storage but there is also a price for the move in which was close to equal. The original representative that gave us the quote never mentioned this at all and Jim acted as if I should know this and there was no way they could provide a quote for the move in up front. They did not even mention there would be an additional charge.'

It's unfortunate that a company entrusted with such an important service handles scheduling and customer communication so unreliably. I expected a professional and straightforward process but was met with ambiguity and a lack of accountability. I would caution others to be extremely diligent if considering their services, as their current practices leave much to be desired.

Review:

This was our fourth time using Marie’s Movers and they continue to excel. Kind and courteous to us, willing to go out of their way the whole time. Very careful with our belongings always. Hoping not to need to move again but if we do, we know who to contact.

Review:

Marie's moving truck was in my condo development today and the crew were extremely rude and spiteful. My son was picking me up from the hospital & their truck was blocking our car. My son asked them to move the truck to the visitor side of our development where by the condo rules they were to be. We came home the truck still blocking our area, once again we asked them to move to the visitor side. They didn't move the truck we had to swing around and park diagonally so i could get out. My son once again told them I will be back again don't block our spots. What did they do the pulled the truck up and deliberately & completely block our two parking spots. I called Marie's & explained what happened & honestly the response I received was unprofessional & rude!

Review:

Very unprofessional. Not only they were rude but they block a spot so the neighbors parking spot. After they ask them to move bc it belonged to an elderly woman. Even when asked kindly if they can move the refused. So called there office n they refused to help. There nothing worse when you have a bunch of rude men being disrespectful to an elderly women.

Review:

The owner - Mr. Jim - spoke to me and informed me that KAY took my call and it was not Rachel. Jim is wonderful to talk with and very reasonable. But between me and the employee- KAY- he obviously needs to stand by his employee.

Please talk to Mr. Jim and not to Kay as she is very rude and obnoxious. I am sorry that I did not speak to the owner earlier and given that he needs to stand by his employee, I chose not to work with this organization. No fault of the organization but I hold KAY fully responsible for humiliating me without any reason and costing this organization business!

Spoke to them to find a quote and was humiliated by this horrible woman named RACHEL, who was rude and obnoxious from the start.
