Five stars for Kristen and her crew. We had met with a competitor for our out-of-state move and while he explained his services well, we decided to sample one more mover. Within minutes as she toured our home, Kristen explained in great detail how she was staffed, what weights would allow us to save money, and details of the billing process. The crew - some with some years on them, were absolutely up to the task and handled heavy lifting and packing with aplomb. At our new home, these same crew members spent about 20 minutes moving large L-shaped seating from place to place in their quest to find just the right distance between our tv screen and adjacent tables and walls. It was genuinely slow and heavy lifting, but the crew soldiered on. Now our new home looks sharp as a tack and we are entirely comfortable. The crew was a down-to-earth lot who had made us feel at ease. All calls placed to Kristen were answered promptly and she was perpetually upbeat and cheerful.
Mark 1 Moving & Storage is first-rate. Highly recommended.

We used them to move to Florida, where we had thousands of dollars of damage to our household goods. Damage was pointed out upon reception at our new home, but since it wasn't formally 'notated' upon reception within the Wheaton process, it's not being covered.

I've updated my rating as Mark 1 did help us with our claim. For any potential customers, I would recommend that you have the loading and unloading crews work at your pace - not theirs. Make sure to review the noted condition of your belongings prior to them being loaded onto the truck and then once they've been unloaded into your new home. If damage isn't noted upon unloading, it is difficult to get a claim approved.

We had a very positive experience with Mark 1 Moving. They were timely, professional and very careful with our furniture wrapping each piece individually. Roman and his crew did an amazing job. Highly recommend.

Great company and excellent guys moved my daughter into her college apartment. They arrived at the time they said they would arrive and also helped my daughter's college roommate move her mattress and box springs upstairs. I highly recommend this company for all of your moving needs
