Very friendly and punctual,aside from it being 500 dollars more then the estimate only issue was they didnt load all my boxes
They were friendly and super reactive, but didn't feel 100% up to the standards of a moving company. Communication came from a personal email account, and ultimately they canceled the move because they could provide the type of COI that my building management required.
They arrived close to the agreed time.
When they were not talking, taking a break or on their cell phones they worked steady but slowly. Not rabbit pace, more like old turtle pace.
10 hours to move 35 miles. 80% of my belongings were already packed and staged in the garage, including living room tables, dining room table, the couch and love seat were not moved, but sold to a friend, 90% of fragile items were packed and in the sunroom. Myself and 2 friends helped them unload. Due to the time already used , I had many of the boxes left in the garage.
They came with not enough moving blankets, luckily I had some for them to use.
damaged items-
Owner said 'what would make you happy before running anything through the adjustment program'.
then in regards to the glass coffee table top, 'the glass we did not pack, so it is not covered by anything'.
in regards to the damaged wood couch frame-they agreed to pay $46.32, but then told me the money order was returned to sender. Then told me the check would be sent again and it did not arrive. Repeated texting but no response from Owner.
The next time I move the tip comes days after I have inspected everything and the claims have been paid.
Be very careful when using these Moving Companies! You will end up paying much more than what you were quoted. Always do a walk through with the owner and get something in writing beforehand, or you will be sorry.
