My spouse and I recently purchased a home in another state while currently living and. working in Virginia. We were in search of a moving company. While picking my spouse up from work one day, I spotted a moving truck with the Matthew's Nationwide moving logo. My spouse took a picture of the truck.
We called asked questions concerning things that were important to us. After the conversation and a few inquiries with other companies, we decided to go with Matthews moving. We scheduled the move, which required sending pictures of the contents in our home. We received the contract, reviewed the terms and signed.
Now, the day of the move was one of the best experiences we have had moving as a military family now retired! Alex and his team called ahead 2 hours prior to arrival. Arrived on time! He did a brief walkthrough of all the rooms and then assigned his team accordingly. They were careful with our things but also answered anv questions we
had. When they completed packing, and loading, the crew ensured all areas were tidied up. No debris was left behind. Alex and TJ delivered to our destination, although a crew of 2, the same level of care and professionalism did not suffer. We really appreciate Alex and his Team for making our transition a less stressful one. We feel they went above and beyond and we say thank you very much for providing an incredible top tier moving experience!!!

I cannot say enough positive things about this moving company. Like others, I have heard horror stories about long-distance movers as I looked into my options to move my small 2-bedroom apartment from Alexandria, Va. to Denver, Colo. From the initial outreach to the day my things were delivered, everything was seamless. The office patiently answered all of my questions and the owner Matt personally came to see my apartment to make sure my estimate was correct based on my apartment size. As Matt will tell you, he isn't the cheapest but he certainly is not the most expensive quote I received. With the caveat that I packed all of my boxes (including fragile items), not a thing was broken or scratched when the truck arrived and unloaded. The movers themselves were all super kind, thoughtful, careful and fun to talk to. For anyone else needing movers for a long term movers, I highly encourage you to consider this company.

If I could give more than five stars I would. I have had Matthew’s for two moves now, one local and one long distance. Both times they provided top notch services that were hassle and stress free. They also do it with complete professionalism and kindness.

This past move, Jessica provided outstanding customer service when setting up and scheduling the move. She answered any and all questions in prompt and detailed manner.

Alex and Tyrone completed the packing and unpacking perfectly and efficiently. They made sure to communicate with me throughout the process and ensured I was completely satisfied with each step.

Maggie and Jose also provided amazing assistance which made the loading process seamless.

I called around and decided to go with Matthew's for my small move across town. I need to move my stuff from a storage facility in MD to another storage facility in VA. The move went fine.

What I want to highlight with Matthew's is the customer service that Jessica provided to me. Jessica was prompt, courteous, and super helpful when booking the move. At the end, we had some crossed wires on the price and mode of payment for the service, and Jessica went above and beyond to help figure it out for me.
