Matthew's Nationwide Moving

We found Matthews highly rated on multiple sources online and so we were surprised to find that they were also the most reasonably priced quote we received. We did a move from DC to Ohio, pick up day 1, travel day 2, drop off day 3. Solo truck with just our stuff and they moved our Corolla as well for a marginal fee as well in the truck. On top of that they did also do a bulk items disposal for us also for a marginal fee. We were a little nervous but as this was our first time using professional movers (we were self U-Haulers in the past but as you get older it gets harder). Everyone was incredibly professional. They answer emails immediately at all times of the day/week. Movers arrived on time. They had plenty of help and got the job done in a timely manner. TBH we didnt have everything packed properly (we wrapped TVs in blankets etc). Rather than being upset or condescending or charging us extra, they explained to us how to properly safegaurd our property, had some extra boxes and packing material delivered and still got the job done on time. Unloading was without any issues. Everyone was friendly and nice. They took measure to safegaurd the property and the house as well. No scuffs or scraps to either. No mud or dirt tracked in. Moving sucks but this was about as pleasant of an experience as you could wish for. It felt a little awkward to sit there while they did all the work but man it also felt nice to not have to carry everything. Would highly recommend. The foreman mentioned that they've done moves to every state in the US including alaska and hawaii so they def have the experience necessary.

Great experience with our move. They worked very efficiently and fast. Packing and loading went faster than expected due to the great teamwork and working atmosphere and very professional crews. Unloading was great as well considering they had to go to the third floor. Thank you for your hard work and taking care of our household goods through a cross country move!

I called 6 different moving companies for our move and decided to go with Matthews for a few reasons.
Pros:
1. The rate isn’t the lowest, it’s mid-range and reasonable.
2. The movers are professional and took extra care with our furniture. They blanket wrap furniture and vacuumed any fabric items.
3. They provide piano moving, and did a great job at wrapping it with blankets.
4. I’d like to give a big shout out to my key contact person, Jessica! She relentlessly answered all my questions with a timely and caring manner before and during the move.

Cons:
1. They said they are able to do same day upload and unload, unfortunately, it didn’t happened. I understood it took longer than expected to upload our 130~150 boxes, but having an accurate time estimate beforehand helps.

MNM was very easy to work with. Their team was very responsive and transparent. They made sure that we were satisfied before they left. Highly recommend!
