Matt's Piano Moving

Excellent service

So Matt did a really good job at the actual moving of the piano. nothing to complain about there. My issue is the inconsistent and inflated pricing. First, his pricing isn't available on his website, not even ballpark amounts. He charged us $700 to move a small upright piano 56 miles. there's a $250 flat fee for moving a piano anywhere, which I totally understand and I think is a fair price, but then come the up charges. We were told on the phone by Matt himself that stairs were $100, then it was $200, then $250. so instead of the stairs we opted for walking the piano around the back of the house which Matt suggested himself. but apparently the $250 base rate piano moving fee doesn't cover any sort of piano moving. That's just how much it costs to have him show up. You want your piano wheeled into the house? that's gonna be another $250. Seems like he just charges whatever number pops into his head. But hey, that's what you get to do when you're the only game in town.

Matt did an excellent job with our tricky piano move. He's very careful to assess what's needed and communicates the plan clearly and patiently to his team. We knew our piano was in excellent hands! Highly recommend!

They were careful, professional and had all the right equipment you need to move a piano...Both pianos arrived safely and were taken out of their old homes safely. I would use them again and highly recommend them to anyone needing to move a piano.
