A Most Worthy Labor: A Testimony of Strength and Faithfulness

Verily, in the land of Franklin, where the sun beat down upon the weary traveler and the burden of great labor was heavy, there came forth men of steadfast purpose, skilled in the art of bearing loads and lifting burdens. I, Gary Thacker, a sojourner in this place, who hath traveled far from the land of Tampa, did behold their toil and found it most excellent.

Lo, the task before us was not small, for two and twenty and six feet of Penske’s finest chariot of burden stood before us, laden with the possessions of those entrusted into my care. Many a time have I called upon hands unknown, and oft have I been met with travail and sorrow. But not so on this day, for these men, whom U-Haul in their wisdom did send forth, were as a mighty host, equipped not with sword nor spear, but with strength of arm, diligence of spirit, and a heart for honest toil.

From the first utterance, their voices were as a sure trumpet, signaling that the hour was nigh and all was prepared. They did call with clarity, confirming the appointed time, and lo, as the sun marked the passage of the hour, they arrived as promised, neither slothful nor delayed. This, in itself, is a blessing in my trade, for many are they who speak but do not perform, yet these men were of a different kind—a faithful remnant in an industry where faithfulness is oft lacking.

With hands as strong as the oaks of Bashan and a will as unyielding as the cedars of Lebanon, they did set themselves to the task. Swiftly and without complaint, they bore the burdens from the truck, each step measured, each movement wrought with precision. No murmuring was heard in their midst, nor did their strength fail when the labor increased. Yea, even when the hour waxed long and our needs grew beyond what was set forth in the beginning, they did not turn away, but with gracious spirit and willing hearts, they tarried yet another hour, asking not for rest nor reward beyond that which was just.

Such men are rare among the sons of men, and I count it no small blessing to have labored beside them. For when a man is hired to a task and fulfills it with excellence, he is worthy of double honor. When he arrives at the time appointed, he is like the morning light that breaks upon a weary traveler. And when he goes beyond what is required, he is as a wellspring in the desert, refreshing those who thirst.

Therefore, let it be known that in Franklin, Tennessee, there stand men of worth, laborers whose word is their bond, whose hands are skilled, and whose spirit is upright. U-Haul hath sent them forth, and they have proven themselves worthy. May they prosper in all their endeavors, and may their strength never fail.

Thus I, Gary Thacker of Brothers EZ Moving, do bear witness, and my words shall stand as a testimony to their faithfulness.
