I had an exceptional experience with MG Full Moving Company during my recent move from a 4-bedroom single-family home. The team was incredibly efficient and managed to complete the entire move quickly and safely. Not a single item was damaged during the process, and they went above and beyond by fixing the legs on my upright piano and assembling a large queen-size bed that they did not disassemble.

What stood out to me the most was their speed and professionalism. They completed the entire move in a fraction of the time it would have taken other movers, all while offering a competitive price. Hard not to give 5 stars because the actual move went really well and on very short notice.. The estimate for 3 hrs ended up being 5+ hours however due to the tired movers wrapping up a previous job and starting mine at 3pm.. A 1 BD/kitchen table, chairs, and 83 inch TV move from townhome to apartment 2 mins away turned into 5 hrs+ with 2 trucks helping at one point.. It leaves me very confused. They got the job done but without the extra help it may have taken 6+ hrs. If any of the pre-move conversation yielded it potentially taking 6 hrs given there absorbent extra charges for travel time there’s no way in hell I would’ve signed up. The extra hour is of course $235 dollars.. For god sakes what does it cost to move an entire home these days $10K??? My move ended up being $1670 and was quoted $1030. but what’s worse is I had another estimate of $600 which I got led astray from thinking $1K would be my worse case. The company won’t refund 1 cent of the costs also.. so much for keeping the customer ? I’d recommend not working on estimates with this company and really focusing on worse case costs or finding a mover that guarantees the cost up front!

This was not a pleasant experience in moving 12 miles from Short Pump, Va. to Glen Allen, Va. I question if the individuals involved in this move are actually employees of MG Moving. They damaged walls, window seals in the house I was moving from and floors in my new home.... The furniture damage is too many to mention... I don't want money for these items, I just want them repaired... The furniture damage was even worse and too many to mention.... This was a very bad experience. If you want to hire someone to help you move, make sure it is a company that cares and have pride in getting your furniture and personal items there safe and sound. I would not recommend this company and will make sure all my friends know about their service.....
