MI-BOX Southern NH & Northeast MA

We retired and moved from Boston to a small ranch house on Cape Cod almost two years ago. We all know that moving and downsizing is a huge pain and at the last minute we called MI-Box and had them deliver an 8’ x 8’ storage pod to the new house to use for overflow, since we have no garage or attic here on the Cape. Well, they were awesome! Quick to respond and get the pod in place, exactly where we wanted it, in a couple of days. It was clean, weathertight and had an easy to open overhead door. Today, we finally said “goodbye” to the pod. It served us well, at a very reasonable monthly cost, and we will miss it. Scott, the pickup driver, did a wonderful and efficient and safe job picking it up. We highly recommend this company if you need a storage pod - pricing is very good and customer service is top notch! Thank you MI-Box!

I recently used a MI-BOX storage pod and had a fantastic experience. The delivery was prompt, and the team was incredibly helpful and professional. The pod was clean, secure, and made my storage process so much easier. I highly recommend MI-BOX for anyone in need of convenient and reliable storage solutions!

Bad experience. I used them twice, the first time was good, the second time not so much. I had the box in storage for over a year. We received it and it had a mice infestation, with poop all over our belongings and furniture and chewed through leather bags, blankets, etc. they said in response that they perform pest control, and that’s why I have insurance. Well clearly not enough pest control and it’s not $500 worth of damage to warrant a deductible. Note that we did NOT have any cleaning products or food in the pod.

Also, I asked the delivery folks multiple times if the box would fit in our driveway and even provided measurements. Well… it did not. It had to be placed on street, and to avoid a fine since we didn’t get a permit ahead, I had to pay for extra movers and move up the time to expedite and get it picked up within 24 hours.

Some of the people who work there are great and kind, but the policies of the company, not so much. So with the damage incurred, lack of resolution, along with the additional cost, I will not be using them again for storage needs.

MI-BOX gets 5 stars for their service and professionalism, but their partners, College Bound Movers, get no stars at all. Very unprofessional from the start. They began by reminding us that tipping was normal. The next 'reminder' was a warning for us to stay out of their way. Once the box was full, they told us that they were only contracted to fill the box and got ready to leave. This prompted me to call Mi-Box and resolve the issue. When they finally finished, I gave them a $60 tip and the reaction was one of disappointment.

I had a wonderful experience. everything was on time and delivered to our new home without any shifting or damage. highly recommend!!
