Visited Midgard two days ago to pick up a U-Haul truck for an upcoming move, Mickey and George were exceptionally helpful and kind to my mother and I and provided us with some great tips for packing the truck. Highly recommend.

Changing from 5 stars to one. When I first moved in, customer service was superb and I was asked to write a five star review. Over the past year, prices have dramatically increased each month. In February, I moved several boxes from my unit into my new home and found mouse droppings and several live roaches in all of my boxes. I reported to the office and to Midgard customer care, but received no response from the Point Harbor office and the issue was never resolved. There were still bugs and droppings inside of the unit at move out.

Upon moving out, I was informed over a text message that I had not provided the required 30 day notice prior to moving out and would be charged for an additional month, and that this policy is 'in the 17 page lease and that honestly over 2/3 of customers call upset about being charged for an additional month and no exceptions will be made'. I suggested that if over half of your customers are leaving unhappy, perhaps it's worth calling attention to the policy upon signing the lease and was told 'that's not our responsibility'. Customer service IS your responsibility. The manager, Dan, then said the only thing that could make me happy was to 'kiss my a$$' and disconnected my call.

I guess AFTER they get your money, they do not care about providing customer service. Beware bugs, rodents, and THE WORST customer service. Highly recommend Extra Space Storage or literally any other place. Very disappointed with the outcome here and apparently so are 2/3 of the their customers.
