There seems to be a common trend in this industry with continuous rate increases... When I first started renting here, my rate was $71.00 per month. Now, less than a year later, I have had three rate increases, with my soon to be rate at $141.00. They know people do not want to go through the trouble of moving everything out of their unit to another facility so they continue to take advantage of their customers. I understand markets change and operating costs can go up, but to double someone's rate within a one year period is unjustified.
