The lady that helps with U-hauls helped me find a rental in a pinch and was very kind. I was having a hard time finding a rental for Sunday but with her help she managed to find me one and for cheaper than the other company I was going to use.
Absolutely worst experience. Their storage buildings are unmanned and the agents you get online are accusatory and hostile. Talking down to a customer of 5 years who never missed a payment or caused any trouble. Their emails provide false and misleading information and their rates soared over 120% over a two year time span. Managers only work M-F and you are out of luck if you need help on the weekends. Would never advise to use this company in any city.

Not only have they raised my rent TWICE in less than a year of storing there, but I've just been notified that I'm no longer allowed to use my own lock AND will be charged 6 dollars a month to use their lock. Look elsewhere to store just the same as I will be doing as soon as I can manage to do.
Edit: the response 'we understand your concerns about the rent increase' falls flat and is a very thinly veiled alternative way of saying 'it is our pattern of practice to do this and we don't really care if it upsets you'. The 'tenant connect program' is a total crock that does absolutely nothing to 'protect (my) access'. The key to my lock protects my access. This 'program' of yours serves no purpose other than giving you full access to every unit on site and saves you the effort of having to cut the locks off when a renter is delinquent. I am very hopeful that my review prevents anyone with sense enough to heed it's words from taking their business to midgard storage.
