Great storage facility and customer service
This place is a disaster. They had put a lock on my unit prohibiting me access then days later when I FINALLY got to speak to a manager they were rude and told me they are human and made a mistake. I wasn’t able to remove my things as I had planned to vacate and gave notice. I had help and truck for that day. End of December. Once I spoke to them and got the lock removed I no longer had my son and nephew in FL to help me move my whole unit. Since I had a notice to vacate they had removed my card on file but I wasn’t aware. . Comes January and I get a text about a late fee. They would not waive the late fee. Then I sat back up auto pay and they didn’t record it correctly as auto pay and next month same issue and they wouldn’t reverse it. Then they haven’t added my rental insurance I had showed in person and via EMAIL and continued to charge me $10/month. It took MONTHS to get that added back and yet no one would even credit me the $60 I had been charged for 6 months.
The management there is horrid. When I had inquired about the lock and how they ruined my moving day the manager called me Little Bopeep and wanted to call the police. Apparently I was not the only one he would say that to.
There were homeless people living in their units. Drunk or on drugs and vocal when I would be visiting my unit. It was uncomfortable esp in the evenings and nothing was ever done, except to be told “imagine how it would feel to be homeless”.
Rates increased about to very few months. Now they make you use their locks which you are charged $6/month lock rent. If you need to call or have assistance it’s a $10 charge, if you want 24 access it’s $10/month. Often the gates are unlocked. Sometimes the doors don’t work.
Don’t call CA because they never answer and if they do they have never had any resolutions or let me speak to anyone other than the CS rep.
I’m beyond glad to have moved my storage to a different company with great CS and cheaper rates!
I thought Midguard wanted me to leave because they raised my rent so drastically, but Jessica reassured me that I was a valued customer. She waved the lock fee for three months, And locked my pricing in for the next 12 months so it wouldn’t get raised again.
I don’t know why this company keeps raising prices, but I’m glad that I talked to Jessica because she was very understanding and helpful.
Chris is absolutely amazing. He was extremely helpful, and he made my life easier than ever. He is great.
Bait and switch to get their Catherine location filled. I definitely did not sign up for a Loft “suite” as they call it.

- Nope I haven’t, the ladder doesn’t even reach due to the beam that goes across.
Now they want me to pay full price $176/month for a unit you can walk into.
- Ok fine. Will you honor the first month free rent that I was offered? No. I don’t want the location on Catherine, hallways are pitch black and it’s just creepy.
Fine I just want my $50 back.
“Oh we can’t refund the administrative fee. That was in your contract past the 24hrs, we don’t refund that fee.”
Really???? I rented it on the 7th but had a work emergency and have been out of state.
So glad I never signed the contract. I’ll be calling my bank.
