Midway Moving & Storage

I got quoted $1,100 and about 4 hrs with 3 helpers. I told Ty that we got a big house with lots of stuff and that I don't think 3 guys are enough. He assured me it is. Well the movers came and they said it's to big of a job for only 3 guys. Long story short. I'm the end there were 5 guys and it took 12hrs and I was charged $4,750. The supervisor of the movers told me that they get tipped between $500 and $800 for a job like this. I was a bit shocked and i think he saw it so he said $800 would be fair. So I ended up giving them $800. A couple days later my son turns his TV on and it's broken. I connected Ty multiple times, filled out the claim twice and I still didn't hear back from them. My move was in November. I'd give it 4 stars because the guys really worked their butt's off but being dismissed and kinda gaslighted into the high tip plus not getting my claim looked at isn't worth more then 2 stars.

Midway moving is hands down the best moving company in Chicago. They have moved me now 3x in the last 2 years. The service they provide when it comes to packing, storing and moving your items is done with care and speed. I started using them for storage and the warehouse is organized and accessible 24hrs. When I compared pricing with some of the other guys they were the cheapest. I’m a customer for life. Not to mention the staff is very friendly and always willing to help come up with a solution to my moving/storage problems.

Midway Moving is the best! I am so grateful to have worked with this company to move to my new home. These guys, without question, are the best. Jonathan, Mario, and Alberto moved everything efficiently and with great gentleness. And the entire move was finished in less than 3 hours. Not a single item broken or bent. This crew was so kind and extremely hardworking. I 100% recommend.
