By far the most incredible moving service anyone can ever use. They were professional, efficient, and fast. They moves our belongings from 2 different locations up north about 1 hour away and everything was delivered flawless. I have to recommend them to anyone looking to do serious moves with their stuff from one place to another.

Sadly, I am the landlord that Kristin Bee referred to below. I NEVER EVER write poor reviews on businesses, but I am so upset with this company and the damage they caused to multiple items of mine that I felt it was necessary to warn others before choosing this company for their move.

We were first introduced to Military Movers when they did a job for our tenant upstairs (Kristin Bee). We felt they were very professional and careful with her furniture. My husband and I were scheduled to move about an hour and a half away and received multiple estimates from different moving companies, one being MM. One of the owners came in and did a thorough assessment of our belongings, was very personable and gave us a reasonable estimate including a promise of a one day job.

The first day went okay, however, they not only arrived late but they arrived with a truck filled with other belongings that they had to unload, store in our garage and come back to get at a later date. While the workers did hustle, they were only able to get half of the job done, which meant my husband and I had to be available on another work day to make sure they finished the job.

On the second day they came with a truck that needed some sort of oil change. To save time, I went to Auto Parts myself to get the oil but was never reimbursed for it. Not only that, but they were rushing the job and were careless with our belongings on the second day. They moved a refrigerator from the basement without a cloth or pad underneath, which caused two huge, long dent scratches to the wood floor and scratches to the molding of the doorway. They were then going to move another piece of furniture without a pad underneath or without wrapping it and I had to stop them. They should have known better.

On that second day, when they arrived to the new house, instead of putting the heavy boxes/furniture into the assigned rooms as they should have done according to the contract, they piled almost half of the items in the garage for us to move ourselves! My husband and I had to move everything ourselves which was absolutely NOT part of the agreement. Not to mention, some of the furniture was not put back together and parts were missing! My husband had to go to Home Depot to buy parts to put our kitchen table back together. MM just left the table in two parts on the floor of our kitchen for us to take care of. Again, part of the job was to put the furniture back in the new house the way it was prior to the move. Also, we were told upon assessment that all furniture would be thoroughly wrapped before being placed on the truck for the move. They never wrapped up one of our sofa couches and I recently found it to have rips in the upholstery on each side. They also neglected to wrap up ANY our TV’s. One of our TV’s was sitting in our family room for about 2 months after the move because we never had a chance to hang it until recently. We hung it on the wall to find out that it no longer works at all. It has a huge florescent mark on the screen when you try to turn it on. It was literally never touched since the move and prior to the move it worked perfectly. What a horrible shame.

Military Movers not only underestimated the amount of time it would take to complete this job, but they DOUBLED the price that they originally told us the job would cost. I would certainly pay for a deserving job, but they didn’t complete the job properly, they left boxes and furniture in our garage for my husband and I to move ourselves, and they damaged MULTIPLE pieces of furniture and belongings.

We bought them lunch and dinner each day and were more than patient/generous to them. To say I am furious and truly disappointed is an understatement.

I am sad to say that this was truly a nightmare. I’m devastated over how much money was lost and damage was done unnecessarily due to carelessness and a poor job assessment.

Please beware when choosing them as your movers!!!
