I had an excellent moving experience with Millennium earlier this month with a long distance move from the Philly suburbs to rural VA. The owner, Matt, came out to do the estimate personally and was responsive to my questions throughout the process. We moved over 2 days with several different team members - all had a positive attitude, worked well together, and took good care of my furniture and belongings. They made our move run as smoothly as possible! If you are looking for a professional team at a competitive rate, go with Millennium!

Pros: Millenium moving is more affordable than many other companies out there. They will trash items at a fairly low cost, provide monthly storage at an affordable cost, and disassemble furniture but only reassemble standard furniture (e.g. beds, not gym equipment). They are also very speedy.

Cons: I was quoted an estimate of 7.5 hours for the move from my home to storage. They came, disassembled and were out of my home within 3 hours. I assume unloading into storage would take less time than that. I was still charged 7.5 hrs on the day of final payment for that move. I asked the guy who gave me the invoice and he just shrugged and said “I wasn’t there.” There was no offer to validate, etc. But fine. I let it go. When they reassembled my furniture, they left unused screws in a ziploc bag and we couldn’t figure out where these screws went. These are screws they put in a bag when disassembling so they are not extra screws. Lo and behold, it was to my kid’s bunk bed and one end nearly snapped off when my kid climbed up and sat on one corner. I tried putting the screws back in to where I find was missing but because they installed the railings incorrectly, it was not aligning with the holes correctly.

If you are on a tight budget, Millenium is great but beware of the above issues. Ask for precise invoicing for hours.

Millennium moved us across country from PA to Colorado and they were flawless! The moving team was punctual both the day of the move out and 4 days later for the move in. We have heard nightmare stories about moving cross country with other companies with delays and hidden fees! We had zero issues with the dedicated truck and team for our move. They were the upmost professionals, completely hard-working and courteous. They were absolute workhorses and took great care with our possessions. They hustled from minute one, were 100% efficient and far exceeded our expectations. We were thoroughly impressed from beginning to end. We highly recommend Millennium if you want a stress free move!!
