Mini Mall Storage - Blountville

Beware of this place!!!!! 5x5 that used to be 44 for storage unit and 9 dollars for insurance. It’s now more than tripled in prices for the SMALLEST unit. They bought this place out and now it’s over 115-130 dollars for the storage unit. If you’re late on your payment they double to triple what you normally pay. We were late and our 115-130 payment went to over 300 dollars due to the late fee being over 100 and other fees they are “adding” to it. They cut our lock that we bought with the previous company that was around 20 dollars and opened our storage unit and just threw the lock they cut inside of our unit instead of putting their lock beside ours because we were late. The managers do not want to do their job and they are scamming people. I do not recommend this place. By far worst experience that we have ever had with a storage unit. If they say a manager will call you back, they never do. They keep jacking prices up and don’t have a clear explanation for why the prices keep increasing. They say it’s because of inflation but really they are scamming people and I feel pocketing most of the money. The place isn’t clean at all. But yet you pay a massive “cleaning” fee. I don’t have anything good to say about this place or the people that run it. They have no respect for anyone or their property. They are only there to collect payments. They will not let you access the portal so that you can see what you’re paying for. Told them we couldn’t get into the portal and all they say is there is nothing they can do. They say they mail out invoices which we never received. At some point everything will come to the light and this place will be shut down.

Amazing ppl!! Called and check to make sure I was able to get in and told me if I need ANYTHING just to let him know!! Super nice ppl and storage unit was clean easy access to inside unit!!!

I would never go back there.
I got robbed and they don't have nothing on camera. And the whole insurance thing, there's a scam. So don't even bother the pain insurance.
They're security sucks.

Another review, after over a week of having our “insurance” fee waived because we provided proof of our own policy, Mini Mall Storage only makes promises to get back with us, and then never does.

The last representative that we spoke with told us to wait until we hear back about our updated monthly fee before we paid our bill.

For a third time now, no one will contact us back about removing the company’s applied insurance policy and is still asking us to pay the full amount. They will not answer the phone when called, and are extremely slow to respond to anything.

Absolutely pathetic customer service, although in their response to my last review, they claim to provide the best service. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!
