Sam and Gage handled all my belongings with extreme care! They truly knew what they were doing and were the nicest people. They made my moving experience very smooth and easy. Will definitely recommend them to others.
If I could give more stars, I would! Ben was very experienced & knowledgable when it came to all the ins & outs of making my move as stress free as possible - as well as quite patient with all my questions. The crew was careful with my belongings/furniture leaving no mess or scratches! I really appreciate y’all so much! 10/10 would recommend and will use again for any future moves!
I am so sad to have to write this. When I met with Ben with Miracle Movers in Selma I felt as though he was a good honest business man who just wanted to do the best he could. The reviews were amazing so we hired his company for our move. Now I’m truly upset by how our move was handled. On the day they moved us out of our home everything seemed to be okay. But when things were delivered to our new home is where problems started. They arrived earlier than we agreed to, showing up while we were still at closing. It was demanded that we leave to come to the house but of course we could not do that. This meant that they started charging us for the time they sat there. When I questioned this, the argumentativeness began. Otis, who I can only assume was a lead became very hateful. He yelled at our realtor as soon as we got to the house. Then we items started arriving, we noticed there were a lot of broken items: our dining room table had chunks broken out of it, our bed had a chunk taken out of one of the corners, a glass curio cabinet was sat up against a wall without the pieces connected or the legs put on. (They put cardboard pieces under it to function as legs as if we wouldn’t notice. We found the legs on the stairs which led us to look). Then we started noticed things were missing. When I contacted them about the issues I was first told they would
Take care of everything but this story later changed. He tried to tell me that everything was particle board and so they are not required to fix it. None of the items are particle board. Obviously a glass curio cabinet and a tv are not particle board. But I also provided proof that the items were not particle board.
3 days after moving in I tried to start a load of laundry but to my surprise I quickly had a flooded new home. I run upstairs to find my laundry room filled with water that was flowing to the first floor coming from the washer. We had servepro and a plumber come out immediately to clean up the damage. The plumber stated that the washer was not hooked up correctly. The thing about this is that Otis told me 3 days prior that he set it up for me, despite him not supposed to do so. (Their contacts states they will not set it up). I figured at the time he did it just to be nice due to the other issues of the day.
We had to get our homeowners insurance involved to get the work started. But the problem comes not that Miracle Movers is refusing to accept any responsibility and fix any of the issues. While we will allow our insurance company to deal with Miracle Movers regarding the water damage, we are very disappointed that they are refusing to repair or replace any of the items that they broke or lost.
Great experience with this company. Very personable and hard working guys that got it done fast! Would highly recommend.
I can not reccomend these guys enough!!! They are fantastic! Ben was professional throughout the experiance and was able to work with us when our closing schedule got a bit delayed, they moved us in a day later than we had discussed and they stayed long after normal hours to get us setteled into our new home. Hopefully we will not be moving again for some time but when that time comes I will only call Ben @ Mriacle Movers of Selma!
