Save yourself a lot of heartache - Please do not trust and use Mission Moving company for your move! I am a senior citizen and have never been taken advantage of like these people took advantage of me. I had several employees lie to me over and over again. They gained my trust, and then when I thought all was well, I found out I was being lied to. When I called, I was yelled at, I called back and was hung up on, I called back and was told I was dealing with the owner of the company, and nobody else could help me with my issues. I ended up having to pay thousands more than I agreed to and was left high and dry with no recourse. To say their company employees are shady doesn't even begin to tell you how they truly are. Don't trust them and be scammed!
They put multiple customer's items in one container. So when we got our stuff we lost some items and they gave us random items from other people. This company is lazy, untrustworthy, and doesn't care about their customer's items.
I would give -5 if I could. The worst, and the rudest moving service I have ever had! They lied and the driver yelled at me! The hidden charges will give you a BIG surprise! The conversation with the driver really raised my blood pressure! BTW, the driver is from Non-Stop Moving, Inc. Berwyn, IL.
Mission Moving talks nice, but their words have nothing to do with reality. When we described our move (from Mississippi to California), with a delivery on December 14, we were told 'no problem, 10-14 days average, max 21 days.'
We had a pickup in Mississippi on Saturday, December 4. The driver told us he would take our stuff to the warehouse in Birmingham to unload. When I asked him why they would unload it, he said it was 'to maximize our profits,' put it on a larger truck for transport.
Monday, December 13 I called Mission Moving twice, left messages and no one called back.
On Tuesday, December 14, I called again someone told me our stuff was still in storage and he had no idea when it would be loaded to bring to California. He also told me they have up to 21 days for the delivery and specified the 21 days did not include Saturdays, Sundays or holidays. I reminded him that the pickup was on a Saturday so obviously Saturdays were workdays, and he told me they can do pickups when they want but don't have to deliver for 21 workdays. When I suggested that 10-14 days generally means up to two weeks and 21 days means 3 weeks, he said it's not his fault I didn't read the contract!
That afternoon I got an email that the movers were loading my stuff onto a truck for transport, but said I now owed over $300 ETXRA!
When our stuff arrived (on a SUNDAY!), many items were damaged because the actual moving company, Insta Movers, had crushed many of the boxes. We filed a claim for over $1,000 and they offered only $105. Due to gross negligence on their part I think they owe us more.
