While moving is a trying experience anytime, Lemkau made it as pleasant and effective as possible. The office staff is professional and skip the hard sell. Rates are reasonable and one can choose a fixed price. On moving day, everything went smoothly: the men were organized and effi isn't and on a personal note very considerate: Seeing I had trouble standing, the last out was my winged chair and the first item into my new home-you guessed it!

Yesterday, I had written a negative review for this moving company … HOWEVER, after receiving a personal call today from the company explaining a rate unfortunate set of circumstances that had occurred within the company during our interstate move, I’d like to change my review … the unusual circumstances apparently created a “perfect storm” for them causing their usual mode of doing business to become inoperative and resulted in the breach of communication with us and the confusion surrounding the arrival of the moving trucks to our new home…in reference to the damaged bookcase and chandelier issues they offered acceptable compensation and a truly sincere apology for those issues…I'm grateful to them that my review was important enough for them to reach out to me and offer an apology and fair compensation for the difficulties that had occurred…because of their actions today, I’ve changed my review to a positive one and feel comfortable recommending them as a moving company on Long Island, NY…
