I was scheduled to move Friday morning....long story short he showed up ALONE for a 3 bedroom move.....rescheduled for Saturday due to staffing issues, showed up ALONE over an hour late. Had his 15 yr old kid arrive an hour later, 5 hours later a couple more guys showed up. Partially moved us till 8pm and was scheduled to come back and finish next day....next day NO SHOW, GHOST US. Totally unprofessional, full of false apologies and total disregard for the inconvenience. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!!!

'NEVER SHOWED UP' wish I could give negative stars. This was a horrible experience. I hired this company on behalf of my 80 year old mother. They were supposed to show up last Friday 7/9 at 9am. 9:30 arrives and nobody, I reach out to Brian and at 10:55 he finally answers that they are stuck in traffic on the highway down near Toledo Ohio. Bad accident 3 people killed. Ok, I'll buy that, although I checked Google Maps and didn't see any red on any highways and have yet to find a news story about it, 11:40 I get a text after asking again where they are he says by Monroe. Nothing after that, no text, no call, no show, no nothing after several attempts to contact them. Left my 80 year old mother crying at her home. I actually went to the address on the business and it ended up being a trailer in a trailer park and they weren't there. So do you check's people before you hire someone. Luckily I didn't lose any money other than wasting a vacation day.

I recently moved and hired Motor City Movers. I personally had a great experience with these guys. They showed up on time and did an excellent job. I would recommend using them.

The worst experience I’ve ever had with movers, used them last year and then made the mistake of thinking it was a fluke and used them for our move today.
Last year damage was done to the wood flooring on the house we were moving out so we had to cover costs to repair that all while one employee spent his day vomiting in my half bath. No show today with excuse after excuse, no follow up phone calls and now it’s 7:40 almost 3 hours with no reasoning or update on why they were a now show. The single most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. Do not recommend as they’ll tell you every lie in the book to not show up or if they do, it’ll be late and you’ll have your house damaged and people getting sick in your bathroom that you’ll have to clean up yourself as to not leave for the new homeowners. Every platform I find your company on I will leave this review on. Dishonest, unprofessional and just disgusting to string a repeat customer along like this. I honestly have no idea how you’re still in business. And I know there’s a few company’s in the area with the same name; this is the correct company before you respond with “there’s no one booked by this name” like I’ve seen on other bad reviews you’ve been left with pretty much the same story of your company no call no show. Don’t go on vacation if you don’t have qualified employees you can rely on to run your business when you’re out of town. Enjoy mackinaw. I wish there were more platforms to warn people how subpar your service is.
