Move 4 Less

I’ve used Move 4 Less 3 times while living in Vegas. My experience with working with their staff movers has been that they are professional, punctual, and respectful. I’m also very picky and I like things a certain way. Even tough I know they already know how to move and wrap stuff with care I still voice what I need to say to give myself a peace of mind; They really listen to what I have to say and value my opinion and proceed to handle all of my furniture pieces and items with extra care. The move for less staff movers really give me a peace of mind handling all my items. Also they’re customer service is always responsive, friendly and to the point. I always recommend Move For Less to my family members and friends. We always hire 3 men for the job. All of the men for our three moves in Vegas have pretty much been different guys I haven’t worked with but they all provide the same service, respect, and professionalism.

My partner and I wanted to give local movers our business as we strongly support local Las Vegas businesses. We contacted Move4Less and received a quote for our move.   On the moving day in January, the truck arrived and the movers assessed how they would start packing everything which was already pre-packed in boxes. The only thing that had to be done was to move a few of the big furniture pieces which were wrapped and in the garage. Pieces that were not wrapped and were being used in the house were courteously wrapped, as requested.  Everything was packed and moved in a timely manner.  The men were very courteous.   This review is regards to the one item with which I had an issue. It is a hall table that was damaged in the move and is irreplaceable. When the men originally placed the table outside, it was set on the driveway without any padding, covering, or wrapping; however, one of the movers guaranteed me that nothing would happen it as they are very careful. The men finished and I gave each one a very nice tip for their service and care. Unfortunately, after inspecting everything after the move and the departure of the movers, I noticed the table was damaged. I was devastated. I kept that table specifically in my move from California a year and a half ago (undamaged) because I was very fond of it and its look. I am very disappointed that they didn't put more care into the handling of that table as it resulted in being damaged. A few days later, I contacted the company. A representative there told me to file a claim with their insurance carrier who will assess the damage and submit a settlement to me to fix or replace the table.  Three months later after numerous calls from me to the insurance company, I finally received a letter informing telling me that the only amount of money they would be willing to settle for the damaged table was $36. What a joke! LOL. It’s an insult! That barely covers the cost of a repair man to come to the house to estimate and then repair the damage  I CHALLENGE THEM TO FIND A REPAIR MAN WHO WILL REPAIR THAT TABLE FOR $36. I was not looking for them to replace the table with a new one. I don’t want a new one. I was looking for a reasonable amount of compensation to repair it. That would have satisfied me and given me a different feeling about Move4Less and the insurance company. If you want dissatisfaction, hire Move4Less   Therefore, I strongly advise that Move4Less not be used for any of your moving needs. Their insurance does not protect your valuable furniture pieces. I believe that items that you pay to have moved by professionals should be handled with the upmost care. Again, I do not recommend using this company as only misfortune could result.

Told one price and charged another... TWICE! First time was when they picked up my belongings and went to store it for me, second was after driving across country to pick up my things and move it myself. Both where over $200.00 extra each time. Then I get charged an additional month of storage after my items where out of storage when I was told I wouldn't be... BEWARE! Some shady crap happens there by the management. Been waiting a week for the manager to call me to discuss this, no word yet if I will get refunded... Also added photos of the two damaged dressers and projector screen also that was stored for me. On another note, the mover men are great and fast, hire them for cash and skip the BS of the management.
