Move For Less

One mover was drunk and fell off the lift and broke my expensive elephant collection
I had in family for long time . When questioned about it .the owner said nothing about it he in a hurry to get off phone .don’t use this company .all the guy want is money .I will tell dept of social service not to recommending him to
No one.I won’t usr him again.

Residential move. Company moved my furniture without any protection. No wrap, blankets etc.
Damaged a lot of my furniture. Move than five items were damaged. Of course accidents happen but the amount of damage is inexcusable and we are stuck with the cost for repairs and replacing items. Two items are completely broken and one the movers apparently broke and put tape on so we wouldn’t know. Now later when I’m moving my furniture around I’ve discovered this item which I’ll more than like need to discard and purchase another. Contacted the company and received no resolution only excuses. while I’m extremely appreciative to have all of my things removed from my prior residence and understanding that it the hours of moving were long….. I have to say that I’m extremely extremely unhappy and upset about the amount of damage for what’s suppose to be a reputable company. We definitely didn’t experience this with our previous moving company. Inexcusable!!! Doesn’t make sense at all!! Never again!!!!

Very happy with these guys! They were so much fun to work with but extremely hard working. I cannot thank the owner enough for his awesome crewman. I would recommend them to anyone who need strong, quick, professional and hard working men. They deserve 10 stars in my book?

arrived early, were extremely professional, had no problems with moving everything. GREAT bunch of guys, very friendly and personable and reasonable rates... highly recommend them!

We are extremely impressed with Move For Less!! My boyfriend and I purchased an elliptical from someone online and were having a lot of trouble finding movers who were reliable, reasonably priced, and willing to do a single item delivery. We didn't want to spend more on the move than we had on the actual machine! After weeks of difficulty with scheduling and waiting for movers to get back to us, we finally found a company that was set to come out at 1:00 on Saturday-- they texted Saturday at 12:30 with, 'can't help you @1, running late' and then completely disappeared, never responding to my texts/calls asking if they could come later or reschedule! Extremely frustrated, once it was clear that they weren't coming, I spent more than an hour calling other moving companies in the DC/MoCo area. Most numbers I called were either disconnected, went straight to voicemail, or the person who answered was rude. Finally I found Move For Less! Someone at Move For Less answered the phone immediately (and politely) and even though I had called on Saturday in the late afternoon/evening (the weekend before Christmas), said they could complete the move the very next morning at 10! The price they quoted me was extremely reasonable (only $15 more per hour than the absolute lowest I could find anywhere in the DMV, and only $5 more than the movers that had no showed us). FYI, the $15/hr cheaper mover had also disappeared after saying three separate times that he would get back to me with his availability, so Move For Less effectively became the cheapest option I could find anywhere! There was a very slight up-charge for weekend delivery vs. weekday but we were fine to pay that, especially given that they could accommodate the move so quickly. The movers actually arrived to the pickup location about 15 minutes early (!) and completed the entire move in under an hour even with holiday traffic. We would definitely recommend Move For Less to others and hope to use them again for future moves! Thank you!!
