Movewise

My husband and I are extremely pleased with using Movewise for our recent move. The guys were terrific! They were efficient and even helped us pack up what we hadn’t packed yet. After having heard many horrific stories about moving companies, I was afraid to move. We were so fortunate to find these guys and the move went smoothly and the owner charged exactly as contracted, no surprises. Great company.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I was moving from Oklahoma to Maine, and the quote I get is for $1800. That sounds like a great deal, I even ask how they were able to do it for so cheap and I was satisfied with their answers. I realize I want my move bumped up a day, so I call to reschedule. Two days before the rescheduled move day, They email me asking for my inventory again, so I send it and they dont respond until the next day, and then they say its actually going to be $3700. Then on the very day that my move was rescheduled to, I get told that I’ll have to wait to move until the original scheduled day. But I have a flight and cant be there, so I have to pull my friend out of work to sign the papers, and my friend tells me the movers are charging an extra $2400. Of course I get in touch with a manager, but I’m still working the money out, a week after the move, I don’t have my belongings yet, and I have to constantly ask for updates about what’s going on and whether or not I’ll be forced to pay $6100 in total for a move I was originally told would only cost $1800. This company reeks of illegitimacy.

I had moved from CA to FL and had been contacted by Movewise for my move. From start to finish the movers were great as well as the whole team and I was very satisfied. I definitely recommend and I will be telling my friends and family about them. Thank you Movewise Team!

So from start to finish I had an experience. James was able to explain how the process worked established I was working with a broker, but that they would work with me hand and hand from pick up, to drop off, and even after I completed my unpacking. The move was within my budget. Then on the day of moving everything went smoothly pick up was within the agreed window. Delivery took a minute, but it was within the established time frame. Delivery day was a huge relief.
As a single mom I didn’t feel pressured into commitment right away. But I am extremely grateful for my experience. Thank you so much.
