Movewise

I was so lucky to find this company. I was looking for a mover to move me from Florida to Indiana after the passing of my husband everything was handled from picking up my belongings to packing them on the truck . The kindness that they showed me and the care that they took of my property was beyond measure. I would recommend them highly for any move local or long distance. Everything arrived In perfect condition, I couldn’t ask for anything more. 5 star service

BEWARE!!! DO NOT HIRE!!!
I hired Movewise to move my things from Arizona to Colorado on 11/8/24. I was quoted a rate of $1,685.34 and put down a $700 cash deposit. I requested a move date of 11/29/24, but the mover/driver showed up on 11/30/25 in a rented U-Haul; which i thought was a bit odd. The driver said they would charge me more ($200, he said) because he couldn't stack my things due to the layout of the truck. I said fine and he said I owed him $1128 in cash; it was a very hectic situation and, unfortunately, I forgot about the $700 deposit i had made. (So, now I have paid $1828 for my supposed $1685 move). I paid the man and he said he would see me in Colorado within 2 to 3 days.

I never heard from that driver again... I waited 3 days before calling Movewise for support, they said give it a few more days, so I waited. After a week I called and told Movewise I had not received my items, they said that didn't seem right and that they would get back to me. They did not. I found the number for the company they contracted with and was told my things were probably in their New Jersey warehouse. I was told that they were waiting for dispatch to confirm the delivery date and told me they would get back to me. They did not. This continued for the next 3 weeks! Nobody would call or email me back or give me the slightest idea about where my things were or when they would arrive.

My things finally arrived on 12/28/25. The diver said they ran into bad weather and black ice in California and Nevada... that was the reason given for it taking a month.
They proceeded to charge me another $1078, again, cash only. Now I've paid $2906 for my $1685 move. They threatened to take my things and auction them off if I did not pay.

Needless to say this was a horrible experience. I'm shocked that Movewise has a 4.7 rating and only one 1 star review. I would leave a zero star rating if I could. They get an F minus for customer service. They have completely ignored me and refuse to address my concerns.

I wish I never hired them in the first place, they're at the top of the list for worst companies ever. I'd love to hear back from them and, at the very least, have my $700 deposit refunded.

I won't be holding my breath. Lesson learned!

Exceptional moving experience; I cannot recommend them enough. Moved a family member & from start to finish it was seamless & stress-free. They were punctual, professional & handled all belongings with the utmost care.
