I cannot express how wonderful Movin on Movers was. The fellows filled 2 large trucks with such skill that it was amazing to watch them. They emptied my packed 2 car garage and a 3,000 sq. ft. house with not one item being damaged. Them they moved me into my new house in the same skilled and efficient way. THANKS MOVIN ON MOVERS. IF NEED BE I WILL SURELY USE THEM AGAIN.
Movin on movers is awesome, they are super professional and caring. I really recommend them for moving services, Mike is also really awesome as well and was super helpful. 10/10 recommend!!!?
I had a tremendously bad experience with Movin on Movers. They were employed to move furniture within my house from the downstairs to the upstairs so that my home’s floors could be refinished following hurricane damage. When they arrived on 1/24/25, we had completed much more boxing of items and furniture relocation from the downstairs to the upstairs then initially anticipated when the salesman gave his quote. For that first leg of the job, on day one they sent out a crew of four men who made quick work of the remaining furniture relocation in about 2 1/2 hours. These men did a great job with this task. Following this, I sent a text to the salesman and let him know that there would be a lot more work on the back end of the job than the front end since I had done so much more on the front end. I told him that we would still need a crew of four, and that they would be needed for the entire day. He texted me a response “OK great”. So I anticipated that on 2/7/25 that we would have the anticipated crew of four to complete the task. However, they sent two men who worked approximately six hours each, leaving before all of the work was complete because they were exhausted. Because I was not in the home, I was monitoring this remotely by video and could see all of the fiasco that was created by this inadequate moving help. While I was on FaceTime with the project manager (he was not a part of the Moving Company but was a construction project manager), I heard distress shouts in the background. The phone was dropped, and the project manager had to prevent furniture being dropped when the older gentleman, who was one of a two-man crew, nearly fell down my stairs when his knee gave out carrying a couch. Additionally, The shortage of moving labor led to my project manager not completing his carpentry work because he spent much of the day involved in the moving process, from upstairs back to downstairs. All because Movin on Movers did not send out the promised crew, as they had been shorthanded that day per my salesman. As a result of this, in addition, the project manager and his wife had to come out the next day and spend 10 hours completing what Movin on Movers should’ve done. And how did the Moving Company reduce their fee for this fiasco? They reduced it by 10%, a measly $300.00. On top of this, I had instructed the project manager that the China cabinet needed to have all the glass shelves replaced after the hutch was set on top of the base. Not doing this would cause the hutch to be unstable. So when I arrived home the next day, I assumed that the hutch was secured to the base. However, that was not the case, and the hutch fell over. I now have a cabinet that cannot be fully repaired without refinishing the entire 11 piece set which would cost more than $20,000 for a $10,000 furniture set. I had a Furniture Restoration company out to my home the next day after the incident which occurred two days after they moved this hutch to this position. He was adamant that had the glass shelves been repositioned, and the hutch fixed to the base that this would not have happened. What kind of furniture company provides an inadequate amount of labor in violation of their contract and expects to be paid nearly the same amount? What kind of Moving Company is unable to determine that the placement of a piece of furniture is unstable? They’re also telling me that I cannot file a damage claim until I have paid them in full, but this will not be a covered in incident.
