Moving 4 Us

Received a binding offer of $3,800 for a full service move from DC to NYC. After the team packed the truck, I was notified that the amount packed would result in a $2,000 increase in price ($5,800, a 52% increase). Sam, the head of the team, took no accountability for his estimator's poor judgement in providing a price quote which was done via FaceTime (so there should have been no discrepancy on the amount of items moved). I negotiated down to $5,300 and Sam would cover the $300 tip to the movers. I give Moving 4 Us two stars because of the hard working individuals that helped us that day. I do not appreciate the bait and switch on pricing and would not recommend this company to anyone else. Sam I hope you see this review and I hope you tipped your men for the hard work they put in.

Great experience with a cross-country move. Professional and quick for both pick up and drop off, and were 1 week faster than original estimate. Communication with the company was easy and always quick, highly recommend.
