If I could give 0 stars, I would. Again, Sherry has been disrespectful, threatened to hang up, took back her word on giving us a refund, lied to our moving contractors even though I have recording of the things she said. She was not willing to work with us or have any understanding. After the last time she hung up, she apologized and told me a sob story about her mother just to get me to accept her apology and then has the audacity to treat my 82 year old father like garbage. So much for having empathy towards the elderly unless it's her own mother? The fact that she is even bringing up her own personal issues is unprofessional and unacceptable. I will be speaking with a manager of this company as Sherry should not be working in anything that has to do with dealing with customers. She treats people like they are nothing except $$ signs. She is using my father's age as a way to get more money out of him and there is quite a bit of ageism going on. Its despicable and disgusting that people could treat others this way especially when dealing with all of their personal belongings. My father has been without his things for 3 weeks and we have not been communicated with unless we reach out. This company should be shut down just by the way Sherry handles others. Don't use this service to save your life.
UPDATE: oh do I have updates. Sheri is NOW telling the broker company that our CASHIERS check bounced when in fact cashiers checks CANNOT bounce because the money is already taken out. That's literally the point of them. She refuses to answer our calls STILL and we had to get her personal phone number (thanks safeship the only good thing you've done) for her to respond because we sent a text message. I'm appalled by this women. I'll update again after we speak with her (if she actually calls us)
Sherry was HORRIBLE. she told lies about what day our truck had left and when it would arrive. she would say she would call us back and wouldn't. the only way I could reach her was if i used *67 because she refused to answer my calls. She HUNG UP ON ME after I was just trying to get a location for the moving truck for my 82 year old father who has had NOTHING for over 3 weeks. Sherry wouldn't give me her managers information or anything. She should be fired immediately. I will NEVER recommend her services to ANYONE. If you are the manager of Sherry, you need to get rid of her ASAP because she is ruining people's livelyhoods.
Please avoid these guys at all costs.
We used moving depot through Eagle Moving Company. The assistants were pretty great. But the gentleman who identified himself as the manager was not. Just about every single issue that came up could have been addressed if we were communicated with beforehand. For example, I had to dissassemble my bed further than we had to with other movers, he tried to charge me an aditional $1k after we hit 500 sq ft ( we were quoted at 533 sq ft so this shouldn't have happened at all, and he gave us an ultimatum to pay through venmo or he would offload our belongings in the lobby of our apartment. Venmo wouldn't have been an issue if we were told he didn't accept credit card beforehand, but since it was apparently the only other way he took payment that we could possibly do, we had to set up venmo in front of him. There were further issues and I have already filed a complaint about them
The worst company I ever worked with. A better name is Lie, Cheat, and Steal Moving Company. I ended up paying $2000 more than my quite. Terrible!
