I will start by saying call them now for a free, no obligation quote. The process was straight forward and we felt zero pressure to make a decision on the spot. We met with the owner, Jose and he did a walk through of our apartment and storage area and provided a quote on the spot. He was very courteous and professional. He asked all of the right questions to get an idea of exactly how many movers he’d need and even recognized our most valuable items and offered additional protection packaging. No hidden fees and the price was fair. Moving day was very simple and we didn’t have to do anything. The men worked hard and got everything done in less than the allotted time. They made sure that ALL items were in the appropriate rooms prior to heading out. I will definitely use them again in the future.Thank you so much Jose and Team for a flawless move!

MDG made our out of state move extremely easy. They helped me move furniture to my basement to get it ready to sell. When it was time to move, the same guys who loaded the truck were the ones who drove 1,000 miles and unloaded 3 days later with nothing lost or broken. This sure beat the big moving companies who take weeks to get your stuff there.

We used MDG for our move from DC to Raleigh NC.

Price: I collected a lot of quotes, ranging from $10,000 to $35,000. Their price wasn't the cheapest, but it was towards the lower end of quotes we received, a bit over $12,000. More importantly, they gave that quote as a fixed price, not an estimate, where as most others would only give an estimate.

Schedule: MDG was able to give us a specific pick up date, and drop off the next day. Most other movers would only give us ranges or potential pick up and drop off days. This made moving much easier.

The move: The team came and packed our stuff for about 6 hours on Monday, then came back and packed stuff onto the truck for 8 hours Wednesday. Because we booked a bit last minute, they weren't able to get us on consecutive days. Still, they were very good about making sure we had everything we needed to live in the house Monday night and all of Tuesday (including both my wife and my office spaces so we could work), and this gap didn't turn out to be much of a pain at all. They arrived at our new house in NC at 9am on Thursday as scheduled), and unloaded for about 6 more hours. They reassembled all the beds and desks, and got most of the stuff into the rooms it needed to go into (and the stuff that got into the wrong room was typically our fault) The team was very professional, showing up on schedule all three days. We aren't fully unpacked yet, but we've yet to find anything damaged. They did a really nice job with our piano as well.

Overall, great experience with MDG, and would definitely recommend.
