If I could give 0 stars I would. One of their drivers almost pinned me in-between him and a 30ft drop. We were driving on gowanus expressway and he decided to cut ontop of me and instead of owning up to his mistake he laughed and flipped me off..... I had a 9year old in the car. When I attempted to capture a picture of the DOT tag on the door he stomped on his brakes. I waited for him at the following exit to catch a picture of his plate and truck DOT tag. When I did so he started flipping me off again and last minute decided to fake swerve on to us at an exit almost flipping his truck and hitting the divider. All parties inside the truck found it humorous and laughed at the situation. That was yesterday Dec 15, 2024. Today Dec 16, 2024 I will be going to their location to speak to the owner.
Buyer beware!!! This company made my interstate move the worst! After I was quoted one price range of 1-2k by their 'broker,' by the time of delivery (nearly a month late) the price had quadrupled. I paid nearly 6k for the entire move and 'free' storage
At the time of my move, they used a handwritten inventory system.
Next time I will go with a more modernized company and conduct more thorough research on any moving company

THE ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE! If I could give negative stars I would. My move is from NJ to FL. At the onset, they were notified that I would be moving into new construction and that the date might be changed. I was assured that as long as they had one-week's notice, it would not be a problem. When I called the first time with extended date, the staff member said no problem. A few days later, a driver called me to inform me my items would be on the way. I explained that I informed the company of the new date and the driver said I never gave notice and that he would deliver my items at the address and it would be my problem. I further informed him that not only did I call and leave several messages, but emailed as well and that he will not just deliver my items at the address. Thereafter, the date changed several times due to back to back hurricanes. Every time I informed Moving Express & Storage, Inc. via email, phone call, or both. No one from this company communicated. With the exception of reaching one staff member on a couple of occasions, I have been completely ignored. I emailed and left messages with every department available via the prompts from their business number. My most recent moving date, 10/25/24, where they were given more than a week's notice, they did not respond, confirm, or show up. I recalled that the owner, Moshe/Moshie Garmay, received payments via Zelle, so I looked up his phone number directly. He had no idea what I was talking about and said he'd follow up with staff, who had another 'emergency.' The staff member did not even call me on the day of the move, nor did Mr. Garmay. I received an email that morning that the 25th was never confirmed and that they would be in touch with the driver and let me know. Let me know?! Who conducts business so poorly? It has been an absolute nightmare and I can only hope and that if and when my belongings are delivered that they are in the same condition as I left them.
Update: Many of our belongings were damaged, including my grandmother's china cabinet. I informed the company and instructed them to put their insurance carrier on notice, and they have yet to acknowledge my email. No surprise there.
