Moving Services Inc. (Callahgan Moving Co) completed my move from Illinois to Pennsylvania as an Agent of National Van Lines. I was extremely impressed by the organizational skills of my packer Norma. She provided reassurance that all of my items were accounted for and kindness during what could have been a very stressful time. I was also very impressed with Austin, D'angelo, and the rest of the moving crew. They were careful and respectful of the home and furniture during deassembly and loading. They were also very efficent and transparent about any additonal costs when I asked for assistance with packing items. My Driver, Deangelo, and point of contact and laborer Austin immediately reassured me that they would be traveling with all of my things to PA. I can not say enough about the great communciation skills of this team. They let me know their projected route, estimated schedule, and continuously updated me along the way. Upon arrival at my new home, these two completed the move on their own with efficency and care. I am so appreciative of their hard work and this positive moving experience. All of my items were accounted for and arrived without damage. Thank you!

TERRIBLE COMMUNICATION

I should have known something was going to be wrong when I was charged for TV moving boxes ($180 total) and no TV boxes were used in our move. When we settled in our new home and mounting TV's, we discovered that one of our TV screens were completely shattered and unusable. I contacted them about filing a claim and was sent a claim form to fill out and mail. I did not hear anything back from them, so I sent them an email. All I got back was that 'we never received it' go figure....

I then sent some follow up emails and got no response at all. I called and was again told that they never received my claim. I asked if I could email the claim with all the information since they mysteriously didn't get my claim. I got a 'sure'. I resent the claim to their email asking for at least an acknowledgement that it was received. No response. I will keep pushing to get reimbursed for our broken TV, as well as a refund for the $180 dollars for TV boxes that were not used. Had TV boxes been used, this probably could have been avoided.

As a business owner myself, I get it, things break especially while moving heavy things, but we take accountability if we mess something up or break something. We do not completely ignore and avoid paying customers when there is an issue. I will not be recommending this company to anyone looking for movers.

Awesome team! We had 5 movers for our move and they had to store our stuff overnight. They were super personable and were fast. Highly recommend Callaghans

Had a great experience today! Callahan's Moving Services moved a piano into my home. They were so quick and courteous. Made sure my hardwood floors weren't scratched and that the piano was exactly where I wanted it. I will definitely use their services again.

Very, very neat and organized. Would use them again, also very professional.
