Movers were here when they promised with 4 guys to move a huge heavy treadmill. They were careful not to scuff any walls or do any other damage to my house. Very satisfied.

If you are looking for HONESTY, CUSTOMER SERVICE and ACCOUNTABILITY, do NOT use this company. They have ZERO integrity, rude employees (Jenn), and an owner who becomes INVISIBLE once you sign your contract and ESPECIALLY if there are any “issues”. Throughout our many issues, Tom Callaghan never ONCE returned a call or an email. He had many, many opportunities to step up to the plate concerning our claims that were filed, but ignored every communication that was sent to him. That led us to have to deal with “Jenn” who needs to take a course in human relations, communication, and anger management. Rude and oblivious as to how to handle problems (since Moving Services assumes that THEY are correct and YOU (the customer) have no grounds for complaint.
Moving Services moved our household goods from IN to IL and stored these items for $640 per month for almost TWO years until we found another home in GA .
The household was moved under the “umbrella” of Wheaton Movers (folder and info presented by Tom Callaghan leads you to believe that Wheaton is doing the move (not so). We had broken antique furniture items, a rare marble antique lamp BROKEN, missing glass tabletops, broken decorator mirrors, on and on.
Dealing with Wheaton and Moving Services for claims was never-ending and a battle. Wheaton requested photos and an online form. Moving Services would only accept a hard copy form. We mailed one. Moving Services said that they did not receive it. Another was mailed. Same thing…they said they never received it. Really? Bogus! Finally we sent a certified letter (with documented photos of the mailing on our end). That began a period of being ignored with no communication from Moving Services followed by a terse phone call with (rude “Jenn”. Tom Callaghan had many (10) opportunities to call or email us back concerning the claims…He NEVER returned calls or emails. Very UNPROFESSIONAL.
We also paid $900 for insurance in the beginning, but never provided us with a copy of the policy. Now wondering where all of that insurance money goes when he signs up customers…Perhaps it pays for his location in Crown Point, IN which is just a rented desk space with a phone #. When we requested a copy of the insurance policy, none was provided.
STAY AWAY from this company. Don’t fall for “initial presentation”. You have other choices!!!

I wanted to take a moment to rave about the incredible job that Moving Services Inc. provided for me and my family. The guys were very pleasant and polite. They took great care of our possessions while packing them up. Jen was great to work with through the entire process. Thank you for making our move hassle free.
