Moving Specialists

Prices were ridiculous!! Packing, loading, travel, and unloading cost me almost $1,800 from San Antonio to west of Austin. $500 for materials, fuel charge, $95/hour rate, AND $250 overnight fee because their payment policies suck at best. Was jumping through all kinds of hoops to get them paid to avoid the overnight fee, but not much I could do late on a Saturday afternoon. Only accept payment apps, money orders, or cashiers check. They don't tell you that UNTIL later! I'd HIGHLY recommend you look elsewhere. Not really sure where, but DEFINITELY not here! My daughter had set them up. Had it been me, I NEVER WOULD HAVE even considered them reading all of the REALLY BAD reviews. It's amazing they're still in business with all of the shady, scammy stuff they do!

And as a footnote to the above, I went by storage where they delivered most of the items. They obviously DO NOT know how to pack boxes or a storage space. They put heavy boxes on top of her hightop table and basically just crammed things in storage space anywhere they could. I had to take everything out of a 10x10 storage space and put in again properly. What a bunch of idiots!! This company REALLY sucks!

Would give zero stars if possible. STAY AWAY! Communication on the phone seemed legit. Received 2 calls and email quote before the move. The two men who showed up to move us were not informed about anything, including that we were moving from 1st floor to 3rd floor walk up. They had me sign a BLANK sheet of paper that included no packing or moving materials and then charged us almost $400 for USED boxes and plastic wrap. Seriously, the boxes had other peoples address on them. All said and done they still dinged all of our furniture and dropped so many of our boxes. Upon arrival to our new apt., they refused to move any of our thing in until we paid the invoice. Normally that would be fine but they tried charging us DOUBLE what they had quoted. $400 for the used boxes, $400 for “heavy” furniture (anything over 200lbs. We own NOTHING over 200lbs. They tried to charger us 8.5 hours of time for a move that was at the 3 hour mark. They charged us almost double the quoted gas charge as well. Tried to call and speak with the number listed on the invoice to discuss pricing. Was hung up on once and sent to voicemail 5 times. Had to have the 2 movers call the “boss”. Also, the moves told us that they were illegal workers in the US who had crossed the boarder illegally and didn’t have social security cards. Such a horrible experience with a terrible company. Total rip off. Again, STAY AWAY!!!
