CRAZY PRICES!!! They charged me $500 for the hour . Made a horrendous move because one of the guys was so tired. They broke all my China and blamed it on me. Now the bill is almost $800 for a 3 hour bad inefficient service . STAY AWAY from these thieves!!
We chose Mr. Mover because they had their own climate-controlled storage facility and we needed to store all of our furniture and boxes for one month before we could move into our new home. The guys who moved us did a great job at our homes, but when our belongings were unloaded into storage, then loaded back into the truck for delivery to our new home, care was not taken and several items went missing and almost all of our wood furniture arrived with scrapes, gouges, and scratches. All repairable...not enough damage to file an insurance claim..but there was a lot of damage. Mr. Mover did not offer to have it repaired or offer us any sort of refund for our trouble to get it repaired on our own. They found only one missing item, but only after I had searched the internet trying to replace it and told them it was irreplaceable. I imagine they would be fine for a local one-day move from one place to another, but under no circumstances should you let your belongings out of your sight. It should also be noted that they did not come look at what we were moving, rather gave us an hourly rate 'guestimate', which was reasonable, however, even though I told them we had a lot of boxes they were not prepared for our move. They arrived late, filled the truck, and couldn't get it all in. Had to come back the next day to get the rest of it. Fortunately, we had the extra time and our buyers were not moving in the day after we moved out! Also, the estimate turned out to be double, since they charged for everything twice for the two trips.
I recently moved into a beautiful new home. However, my actual moving experience was a nightmare and will now end up in small claims court. Do not under any circumstances use Mr. Mover of Fort Myers, FL. Not only did they absolutely ruin several pieces of furniture, many valuable items are missing. I repeat do not use Mr. Mover of Fort Myers, FL!!! They don't even deserve a one star rating!!
If I could give LESS than 1 star. I'd do it.

This is a follow-up to the previous review below. I spoke to Josh at Mr. Mover regarding the issues I mentioned regarding my move. He listened to everything I said and was very apologetic. He said that my experience was a very rare one. He sincerely wanted to make things right, which he did. There was no argument, nor excuses. I will definitely give them another try because of his great follow-up customer service.
When I booked a move of several boxes and about a room and a half of furniture to a new storage facility nearby, they answered the phone immediately and the process was easy. When I called the day they were scheduled to arrive, to check on ETA, I kept getting voicemail. I finally chose the option to schedule a move and of course got a real person immediately, of course. When the truck finally arrived, I knew I was in trouble. The two guys they sent were not dressed professionally at all. I showed them what I had to move and started loading. I watched the them for several minutes and it looked like it might work out. I had other things to do to finish cleaning the house so after about 15 minutes I checked on their progress and noticed that they weren't using moving blankets and basically just putting items in the truck haphazardly. It was only after I asked why they weren't using blankets that they finally did but basically to just throw over items. I found Them texting several times. They had to to reorganize the truck to fit the remaining items which took time. Finally we got to the storage facility. At this point I took over the move in process since they felt a 10x15 wasn't going to hold what I had. I had them bring in all the furniture and had to direct them as to where to put larger items, washer, dryer, large couch, 2 love seat , large chair, etc. Once that was done, I dismissed they so I could pack the rest of my items so they fit. In doing so I discovered that the large coffee table was heavily damaged because it was never packed property in the truck, no tie downs. I managed to get all items in the unit with room to spare. This took three hours, because I sent away and finished the job myself. I would NOT recommend Mr. Mover for any move!
