The site manager was so very helpful! My account has been so screwed up for months due to all the system updates and issues with the customer service and online website. I was able to go into the office and speak with her and tell her all the issues and she was able to take the extra time out of her busy schedule and do everything she could to help me. She is also writing a letter to her corporate office to get my rent and my account fixed also get me reimbursed for money I paid on a unit that the online system messed up on due to someone else being in that unit it assigned me. Nothing that I have went through was the site managers fault and I hate that she has gotten back lash for things out of her control. She is super understanding and accommodating. She is also very patient and listens to the needs and issues of the customers. She even made sure she was available for anything the customers needed even while she was sick. What an amazing manager to have at a company. Even with us moving 6 states away I have faith and trust in the site manager to know that the stuff I couldn’t take with me right now is safe and secure until I can come back for it all! Best service I have ever received!!
Teresa is an excellent person to work with. My 1 star review has nothing to do with her customer service. I'm writing to express my frustration with Storage Space. I've had my auto payment kicked out twice.
1. There was an increase of $10 in July.
2. Now there's another increase of $11 effective October 1st. This is the second increase within the last 3 months. Why? What changes? This is getting ridiculous. A $21 increase within 3 months!
What changed?
Clean and secure storage space, convenient location, but horribly staffed and managed. Today is the third time in the past two weeks I’ve come by the office during the posted “office hours” to address an account issue, only to find it closed. The auto-pay has been anything but reliable. While I like the facility, the frustration of dealing with the management makes it hard to recommend.
EDIT: had a great conversation with a regional person (Gwen) who explained the updated computer software and how things will work more smoothly. Very appreciative of the outreach.
Update: I called the number in their response below, and it takes me into a virtual circle of pressing numbers. Can't reach a real person! This company is a joke!
Very disappointed since the changeover in owners. I've had two price increases in 4 months, and service is awful. My autopay info has been wiped out of the computer system twice over the course of
the last 4 months. The new computer system doesn't work correctly and won't allow me to create an account, so I have to do everything in person. I've been charged twice for the same month, and they only have one very overworked employee on site. She is very helpful, but can only do so much. If she takes a day or week off, there is nobody there to help! I've made several trips only to find a note on the door saying nobody available. It's impossible to reach anyone at corporate number because it takes you into a constant phone loop. I will be looking for an alternative space to rent in the near future.
