This company is amazing not only where they organize and confident with moving my personal belongings but as for matthew he was very reassuring that my things will be delivered and the price was amazing compared to other businesses and not only prices but overall customer service . I would personally love to thank Matthew for his outstanding service and in the future I will definitely be contacting and will also refer . Thank you again for your service Matthew.
I am incredibly pleased to write this glowing review for New Era Moving and 2 exceptional individuals in particular. As a satisfied customer, I want to express my gratitude for the outstanding service provided by Matt and Vincent at the moving company.
As a customer, I cannot emphasize enough the exceptional service provided by both Matt and Vincent. Their extensive experience and dedication to their craft were evident in every aspect of the move. With their expertise, I was able to navigate potential challenges seamlessly, and the end result reflected their unparalleled professionalism and commitment to excellence.
Thank you two again!!!
Complete scam of a company. Delayed my pickup day by 2 days, even after the owner guaranteed I would get my furniture picked up on the day agreed upon. (I had to work immediately after moving to new home so the timeline was strict. Forcing me to pay extra days at my old apartment. By the third day, when the truck still hadn’t shown up by 6pm, I canceled the pickup. And they stole the deposit ??
Don’t let this guy lie to you. Whatever he responds to this review is a total sham.
I give my highest possible recommendation for Our Family. They made a move from New Jersey to Florida super easy. They did an amazing and professional job. Vincent and team were extremely professional nice and efficient the whole process was stress free. This will be the only moving company I will ever use.
I talked to Vincent about a month before our move was scheduled and he went through the whole process with me being a first time mover and was pleasant and helpful in reassuring me that everything would go well. That’s where the good stops. We confirmed that my pickup date was a very tight 1 day window because of the July 4th holiday being right before our move. Well Vincent wrote in the contract and reassured me that no matter what that 1 day window could be met because the foreman of his company (they are a broker by the way) said it would work. Well guess what. They gave me an arrival of 12-4pm July 5th, well it’s about 6:30pm and finally a guy from the trucking company itself calls and says “oh yeah no we can’t make it. I figured Vincent would call you and tell you” well guess what. Vincent didn’t call. Throughout the whole process I had to beg for Information from him, and when I called Vincent, he would ignore me for 3-4 hours on end. He kept me waiting for 4 hours after the movers missed the first day and he kept saying “I’m on the other line I’ll call you back” to which he never did. Now it’s July 6th, my scheduled move in date. “Oh yeah the truck will be there at 4” now it’s 6:30pm. A truck still hasn’t come to pick up or belongings yet. I finally text vincent “we are cancelling” after he ignored my calls for 2 hours and what do you know he immediately responded to that one! He informs me that they can’t give my deposit back because they use the money to fuel the truck etc. yeah okay man. In good faith, he should have given it back for running me around. He claims to be different. A beacon of light in a dark ocean of people that rip you off in the moving business. But he’s just like all the rest of them. DO NOT USE A BROKER NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO. THEIR CONTRACTS ARE NOT BINDING AND THEY WILL NOT KEEP THEIR WORD.
And Vincent… if you are trying to ignore someone over text messages. Maybe turn your read receipts off. Just a little tip for you for the next people you rip off ;)
Edit- I was very respectful of your personal phone number until the shipping companies didn’t show up and I had to pay for an extra day on my apartment lease because you guys could “no longer guarantee” pickup on the 5th. I really only asked you for the bare minimum. But when we talked on the phone July 6th, and you said “I will call you right back. Call me in 5 minutes if I don’t call you back. Then you ignored me for 4 hours? I wouldn’t say that was me being disrespectful of your personal phone number. That was you lying. And being “realistic” on the deposit, the truck takes 150$ to fuel up. And your employee wages for the 2 hours to load me would cost even less than that. What’s unrealistic is you expecting me to wait until 9pm on July 6th to get my belongings picked up because it was already 6:30 on July 6th by the time I finally told you I had enough and cancelled. You may guarantee the 2 day window by 11:59pm but I told you from the beginning I couldn’t wait that long becauseI I had an 11 hour drive in the morning to get to our new house. Then the audacity for you to say “at least let me help with the next truck cost” yeah right man. Whatever makes you sleep at night. Don’t even try to paint yourself into a good light here. You and your guys blamed me for calling too much. Yet you gave me four hour windows that weren’t met and left me waiting all day 2 times. I’m willing to admit fault but seriously? You are a convoluted and selfish as I thought you were. And you did run away with the deposit. The first “thing” you are responding to since the move is this review. I’ve sent you multiple texts that weren’t “outlandish” by any means. I said “glad to see there was nothing you could do to help, pleasure working with you” after you lied about offering to help me with the next truck or whatever that meant. And I said “enjoy the deposit”. By no means was any of that disrespectful or outlandish.
