New Jersey Transport inc Moving Company

Horrible service and I would not recommend to anyone. I had to constantly call to ask about my delivery, and when it finally came a lot of my items were broken and/ or missing.

NEVER EVER USE THIS SHAM OF A COMPANY!!!
First they suck you in with the lovely salesman Jay who acts like he cares but then forgets about you and your concerns as soon as you sign the contract
They picked my stuff up on 8/1 told me 7-8 days
Day 7 called was told my stuff was in Georgia
Day 11 was told my stuff was being held up in Florida by an unruly client it will be a few more days
Day 16ish called in to check
They told me my stuff would be leaving NJ the next week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My stuff finally arrived filthy dirty
The movers had NO DOLLY NO HANDTRUCK NO BOX CUTTER

I agree with all of the posts below. I moved a little over 300 miles and was supposed to have 3 movers when I arrived. The driver slept the entire time, and one guy left after an hour so I had one person. They didn't even have scissors or box cutters so I was the only one opening the boxes trying to figure out what they put in what boxes b/c that was not how I packed things and they added an additional charge of $1350 for additional packing. They took all of my furniture apart and refused to put it back together. I had 2 suitcases, my paddleboard, front tire of bike and 3 boxes missing unaccounted for on top of broken furniture. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! I am also filing a complaint with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration because no one is returning my call about my missing belongings and broken furniture that was taken apart that they were supposed to put back together. And I would rate them ZERO stars, they don't even deserve 1 star.

This company is awful. Straight up lied and tried to charge for things that had not happened.

Horrible horrible horrible company!! They will sweet talk you on the phone before you sign the contract and pretend they care about low cost and customer satisfaction, but they will add extra charges at pickup after all your stuff is loaded into the truck. Spoke with someone from customer service and she was beyond rude and useless. The move ended up costing an additional $700 from the original quote. I would not recommend this moving company to anyone.
