North American Van Lines

Just completed a move from NJ to Jupiter Florida. North American Van Lines were totally professional, timely and responsive. Competitively priced with NO surprises and all promises/estimates delivered. You move with the best and everything went like clockwork.

I live in an apartment complex and my neighbors used them to move out! For the entire day they left all of my neighbors belongings in the hallway which blocked other tenants doors. I had to leave and had to push a moving cart away from my door. Then instead of letting me get the elevator and wait for the next one, they proceeded to squish multiple carts in the elevator giving me an attitude as if I was in there way! I had to leave MY APARTMENT. Second, and of course, they had their truck parked in front of 6-7 parking spaces. It's a small lot, I get it. So of course, I had to get them to move the truck so I could actually leave. When I returned an hour later not only did I have to get out of my car to ask them to move the truck AGAIN but also move all the furniture and moving supplies they threw in my spot. I feel obligated to leave this review because how rude and unprofessional they were!

The other less than stellar posts motivated me to share my experience with NorthAmerican Van Lines as a cautionary tale.
I moved from MO to NJ, using the same company my parents did years ago and my sister only a handful of years prior. I was quoted in MO and signed my agreement with ease. Customer service with Cord Moving and Storage in MO was great and I was excited for the process to move along. In MO, they stored my items waiting for a driver to come to NJ and deliver.
In between the time the crew took my things and stored them and delivered them to my new address, many things were damaged beyond repair.
A metal dining table, display bookshelf, entertainment console, boxes, plasticware, and even decor were all irreparably broken. I made my claim and talked with my moving coordinator and everyone couldn't have been less helpful and empathetic.
I took a high deductible because I was convinced my move would be handled with care. Thousands of dollars of damage and moving costs and I received a measly $150. This company does not do its due diligence to handle your items with care. Beware.

From start to finish (including storage) they were exceptionally professional. The people are extremely professional and helpful. I am so happy I chose NorthAmerican Van Lines for my move. I highly recommend them.
