Driver and loaders very helpful and kind

The husband and wife team in charge of my move were exceptional. They treated my belongings as if their own. While professional and efficient, they were also courteous, friendly and ready to answer any questions I had. If I move again I'd want them as my team.

For the amount of money paid to Ellis Moving and Storage, I expected a smooth move from start to finish. First day of scheduled move, workers were present at 8:30 - driver did not show up until 12:00. Workers quit loading at 5:00 which left a lot of stuff to move on Day 2 - most of my items were to be loaded on day 1 and only a small amount to move on Day 2 due to a 3:00 deadline on Day 2. Day 2 came around - driver present but only 1 worker present - workers didn’t show until after lunch. Deadline was not met - we were 2 hours behind schedule which affected our buyers walk through before closing. Once Ellis Moving company knew of my issues, they never called to check if deadline met - never called me to see what was happening - never reached out to me to offer solutions. Worst moving experience I have ever had.

With the exception of starting time issues, the gentlemen that worked in packing were very professional.

At the beginning everything went well. Unfortunately, upon unpacking I discovered the packing crew was negligent in their duties. I have packed these items in the past and they were not damaged. I am going through the claims process. I would have expected better from professionals.
