North American Van Lines

Haven’t gone through claims process yet (there was some minor breakage) but my experience with North American and their local agent Ace was far beyond my expectations. Communications were prompt and professional. I knew at every step when the truck would be at the house to pack and when it would arrive at the condo across country to unpack. The crews on both ends were skilled, efficient and polite. They do not scrimp on packing materials. My antique china cabinet was correctly and safely dismantled, moved, and reassembled. Only one wine glass was broken out of several dozens of stemware. I ended up packing about 35 boxes myself and received an appropriate discount as promised. I would highly recommend this company. Their price was also the most competitive. My move was from New Orleans to Minneapolis.

Overall the service was very good. Peter (the job estimator) was very clear and responsive. Coordinating load and delivery dates was a bit messy as the original driver scheduled had truck problems that ultimately resulted in changes to both driver and dates. In the end, however, I was quite pleased with our new driver, load and unload crews, and had no lost or broken items.

Great group to work with for across country move. Appointments were kept and estimate was true to actual costs. Very professional staff in the office too they answered all my questions and stayed in touch the whole moving process. Thank you!
