University Moving/North American Van Lines Grand Rapids is hands down one of the best businesses I've ever worked with. They helped our family recently move our mom from MI to PA. She had a small apartment, moving from one senior community to another. Even though her move was small, Kevin and Michelle at University Moving focused on every detail. They were a pleasure to work with - the dates and details of Mom's move changed a couple times, and they handled it with no fuss, exceeding all my expectations. The actual moving team led by Yory was also amazing - a realtor friend who was present when they packed up the apartment said they were the most conscientious movers she ever saw. When they delivered the items to PA, they were equally careful. Everything was in perfect condition, and they put it all right in its place. They took care to protect the new carpet in the apartment and cleared all the trash without being asked. All three of the men were very pleasant and courteous, and the communication was fantastic.
If you are moving near or far and need a mover in southwest Michigan, University Moving/North American Van Lines in GR is your best bet!!

Driver was 6 hours past the pickup window due to a miscommunication on their end. Items were damaged or missing during the move but after the driver explained the claims process, I didn’t want him to get blamed for something that he personally didn’t do and was likely caused by the crew, and the claims process sounded like more hassle than what it was worth.

It was a horrible experience. Kevin was just terrible and the crews were awful. We have sought legal council due to damage and lack of care taken with our previous home and belongings. Start to finish was absolutely horrible.

Unfortunately, the mover underestimated the pack and load time, provisioned the driver too few boxes/packing materials, miscommunicated every single time to meet, damaged our goods when switching trucks at the warehouse, and generally struggled with all the essential things you'd look for in a mover.

Recently moved from Michigan to Florida, and cannot recommend this company any higher. They were professional, prompt, and provided a great deal of peace of mind during this transition. I would rate them 6 stars out of 5 if I could.
