North Bay Movers - Santa Rosa

Poor customer service

I hired North bay Movers for my daughter. I spoke to David Nolan(?) and was told to fill out a form via email and I would receive a quote within an hour or two. I told him that regardless of the quite amount , we wanted to hire his moving co and that he could book us. He said no problem.
After I received the confirmation that Northbay movers received the form with all the details of the move . I called David again because several hours went by and still no quote. I left a few messages letting him know we want to hire him for the date we stated. Still no response. Finally on the day of the move, Northbay movers NEVER showed. My daughter finbaly got a hold of David asking why they weren’t at her apt. and he said “ because your dad made a mistake by not agreeing to the quote and then actually hung up on her! Again ,I was NEVER SENT a quote ! I even checked my spam too …. Nothing . My daughter was in tears because she had to move out so the new renters could move in.
What a disaster! My advice is to hire another moving co. But stay away from Northbay movers.

We used North Bay Movers twice. Moving from Pacifica to the Russian River and then again from San Mateo to Pacifica and Russian River. It was a big move and had lots of intricate parts. Mike and Ramon were our guys both times. They called ahead and we discussed the plan. They arrive on time and they are both so professional. They worked quick. They packaged all the glass furniture nicely and everything arrived in one piece. They finished early so under budget. I would absolutely recommend North Bay Movers. They were by far the most reasonable and professional.

We received multiple bids to move some furniture from Santa Rosa to the Sacramento area and Dave gave us a quote that matched two of the four bids we received. The reason we went with North Bay Movers was because they were responsive and could schedule us on Saturday. Mike and Ramon arrived on time early in Santa Rosa and got the furniture loaded quickly to its new location. They were friendly and worked with us on finding a place for the new pieces. We would use them again. Thanks
