I wish I could give this less than one star review this place is a joke to say the least. They say you get $1 for the first month but they will cost you a lot more money than that! The lady then argues with me about how their units were marked but nowhere on their website does it tell you how to find your unit either it makes it look like your unit is in North Webster. Well after I ask for a refund for my unit(s) that I haven't even been able to find yet, because of their new paint and unmarked units she tells me they can only refund the dollar per unit and that I can feel free to move out. Well they can only refund the $1 for the first month per unit, but not the $25 administration fee per unit! Additionally it cost me even more money because the map redirects you to their Webster location (you can even get into the gate with access code they give you but it's not even at that site!!!). It's 20 minutes away where I wasted mileage and gas and resources to get there with my U-Haul truck and now I have to pay for another day for the U-Haul truck as well. I am limited on my income and resources because my daughter is on life support equipment. This place is also infested with spiders and other insects. Additionally the units are not marked and my first unit I got was C5 and the lady told me that on the opposite side of the building is where my other unit B13 is located, which makes no sense because they are ascending numbers from left to right. This place has poor customer service and they're rude and they were not helpful at all. They will over charge you for, as well as, not refund you for 'administration fees'! I have never been more appalled with a business. Save your valuable time and money and go elsewhere! In my opinion Store Space Self Storage are the 'slumlords' of storage units!
Well update on my review being as they have called me back and Jamie at the office had called corporate for me and they were able to give me a free month next month.. which doesn't help my financial situation now or the fact that I have to pay another day for a U-Haul.. still very frustrated to say the least.
