My stuff was supposed to be delivered door to door on an On The grind branded 18 wheeler from California to Texas for $8K in 4 DAYS.

Instead they showed up in am intermediary rental van with graffiti down the side. They asked me to sign blank paperwork and inventory lists, they didn’t have the necessary equipment to load specialty items (safes, motorcycles) and none of the loading crew spoke enough English for me to have basic moving conversations with. I needed additional space which they tried to charge me an additional $11K for until I caught several “errors” with the quote and overload rate. My salesperson Arthur was nowhere to be found on moving day but his manager Darnell was available and brought the price down to $12K still $4K more than contracted for.

The issues are just beginning. I get an email that’s says I need to pay an additional $3000 for them to release my belongings, which I pay the same day.

Come to find out they didn’t do ANYTHING they agreed to. They took my items to a warehouse asked for additional money and said they would get me back on the schedule “when they could” and that they have 21 days to deliver my belongings. I escalated to an operations manager and they were all worthless so I filed complaints with BBB and other bodies in CA and TX. I plan to investigate litigation options because they are stranding people to maximize profitability at every turn. It’s now been 14 days since they picked up my stuff. Nobody has called me back or told me when my stuff will arrive. Sorry such a long review I’ve relocated 5 times and never seen as bad of a moving company as this and I just don’t want anyone to experience this mess.

We had to move my father last minute and On the Grind were able to make it happen with no hassle. They packed all of my dads stuff and after seeing how they packed everything, there was no doubt that my stuff was in good hands. Their representative Oscar helped us see why you don’t always want to base your decision on a price if you want to make sure your stuff is ok good hands. Highly recommend them for your move!

The service was amazing! These guys went above and beyond to handle our move. They took extra care with our belongings. I really appreciated that they disassembled then reassembled our king size bed frame and my kids beds too! Thank u guys so much! 5 stars!
