On the Move Mobile Storage, LLC

We love “On the Move”, we recently used them for the third time. Great customer service and easy to work with. Will use again if needed.

We used on the move for a move from Massachusetts to North Carolina. I do not suggest using them for a long move.
We were told to put our items in a container they moved our large items in and we packed the rest. First container was stored until we had a moving date.
Second container was packed and loaded by them. It was stored until we wanted it. With notice.
We let them know when we wanted them
Here is where it goes bad. They transfer everything from containers to trucks.
They put it in two trucks. Firs truck was to arrive at 11:00 am. We had 4 people waiting to unload because they don't do that. First truck did not show. Second truck showed up first about 3:00 pm. The items look like they threw everything in not tied down. There were 8 straps hanging on the wall of the truck. It ended up our kitchen table top was broken. Drivers bid on the jobs
The second truck we were told after many phone calls to the dispatcher(who does not work for on the move) was very responsive. He would be here by 8:00 am
We had the same 4 men waiting he came around 2:00 p.m. he left Massachusetts before the second truck and arrived a day later.
We were told by Tim they would be docking him for the time and we would get a refund

You could use them for short local moves. Everything is bid out to contractors.
I would not use or suggest anyone use them.

Fantastic to work with! On the Move was the perfect solution for our move. The pod itself was spacious, sturdy, and well built. It had tie-down points where I was able to secure my belongings. The service was great—they were prompt and courteous on the phone, and the dropoff/pickup process was smooth and easy. Plus, it was a lot cheaper than renting a storage unit, with the added benefit of not having to drive somewhere just to get my things! Highly recommended!

The person (forgot his name) was incredibly courteous and professional and did an outstanding job delivering the unit!
